Five Things We Love About Being The First Married Couple to Be AVN’s Performers of the Year by Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue

At this year's AVN Awards, Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue became the first married couple to ever win AVN's Female Performer of the Year and Male Performer of the Year simultaneously.  That is a really huge deal and it seemed like a good time to check in with these two to find out why that is just so awesome, past the trophies.  Here's what they had to say.

1) We both wanted each other to win this award more than just ourselves, and it was a beautiful dream come true that we BOTH won Performer of the Year together!

2) We hope this great achievement together will shine a different and positive light on the adult industry, showing that no matter what industry a person is in that love, encouragement, and support go a long way!

3) It’s amazing that we both won these awards together with the love of our lives, and we can share these awards and this memory forever.

4) We love that we have so much support and love from our industry and fans upon receiving these awards!

5) We hope to inspire couples around the world, no matter what industry they work in, or where they are in their lives, to be loving, supportive, encouraging, and honest with each other in all that they do in order to bring them closer!
