Twenty Questions with Arabelle Raphael

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was a mix of suicidal goth and drunk party girl. I hung out with losers, druggies, art freaks, socialists, metal heads and homos. I pretty much dated artists and musicians, towards my late of my teens I developed a taste old men that couldn't get their shit together. I WAS A VERY BAD GIRL.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry?

Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies? I watched some porn before I started performing. I loved Belladonna, Tori Lux and Joanna Angel. I also loved the classics like Debbie Does Dallas, Behind the Green Door etc. Andrew Blake's fetish films, Kimberly Kane's films and 80s French porn as well.

3) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

I would love to do a B/B/G bisexual scene one day and I have always wanted to shoot some stoner porn.
4) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

My favorites have to be Danny Wylde, Tori Lux and Aiden Star. Danny Wylde is the same kinda pervert that I am. Working is a lot of fun if you and your co-star have the same kinks. I have been flown to events, been given incredibly thoughtful gifts and even made a Pen Pal. Honestly, I would be nowhere without my fans. I have never been crazy huge or pushed by many companies but my fans have always bought my work, requested me, and shown crazy amounts of support. I wouldn't have this if it weren't for them.

6) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

I don’t have favorites; there are too many good things in life.

7) How was your threeway with Aiden Starr and Mr. Pete in "Two Chicks At A Time, Man"?

Really fun! It was like a reunion; we did a scene all together a couple years ago for Bobbi Starr. I like working with both of them a lot. Plus our outfits were amazing. I like to wear 80s workout clothes... A lot.

8) What is it like working with director Joanna Angel?

I have worked for Joanna for years now and it gets better every time. Even though Burning Angel wasn't the first company I worked for, it is definitely my porno home. Joanna is always easy to work for and has a sense of humor, which is always fun.

9) What are the best things about being a porn star?

Hehe, I don’t really consider myself a pornstar. I work in porn about twice a month, and although I do sex work, full time porn is just a nice side hustle for me. I really like fucking on camera, I think of it as a kind of sexual performance art. Also I have gotten to collaborate with really cool artists and have met some decent people too.
10) What do you think is your hottest scene overall?

Oh that is hard. I honestly don't know... I guess the ones I have shot with my favorites. When chemistry takes over it really takes over.

11) How was being nominated for Unsung Female Performer of the Year by AVN?

It was neat! It felt nice to be acknowledged

12) What do you most want to achieve in the adult industry?

Honestly, I just want to shoot with my friends or for cool projects. I just wanna make cool porno.
13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

I don't know if role model is the right term but I have a lot of respect for Joanna Angel, Kimberly Kane, Aiden Riley, Aiden Starr, Wolf Hudson, Jiz Lee. They have inspired or resonated with me in very different ways, from their business models to their politics.

14) What advice would you give a woman who wants to be better at pleasing her partners?

Ask questions, the best sex advice anyone can give you. Communication is key to good sex.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

Hmmmm, I have not been to the movies in a really long time so it is not current but I saw Triplets of Belleville.

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

To be honest, I have not watched a whole porno in a really long time. I watch Samantha Bentley's scenes, but I mostly watch cartoon porn. I know too much now. Lol.

I have a few movies coming out in the next couple months both with Burning Angel. Bailey Jay and I also have plans to shoot as well which is a dream come true for me.
