Good news, friends. Lest you think that all the happy fun times happened in your youth, it turns out that people in their 50s and 60s say the best sex of your life will happen around 46. Or so says a survey from Happify, which put together quite a bit of encouraging sexual stats.
When it comes to ages of sexual satisfaction, it's important who you survey. Ask a 20s- and 30s-heavy group the same question, and you will (quite obviously) not be answered with your 40s. Granted, the statistic probably would have been even more accurate had Happify surveyed folks in their 70s and 80s, but this is promising, at least.
Interestingly, the survey also revealed that most folks do not have the best sex of their lives until at least 13 years after they lose their virginities, meaning most aren't capable of reaching that level of awesomeness until their early to mid-30s. It turns out that your 20s are mostly about fumbling around in the dark with strangers, trying to figure out if you're into BDSM, and pulling your hamstrings while trying new positions you saw on Pornhub.
Not that I would know or anything.
