Nikki Benz Will Probably Have The Defamation Case Against Her Move Forward

Nikki Will Face The Tony T Defamation Suit In Court

AVN has run a story stating that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Delilah Lyons has denied several motions AVN Hall of Fame porn star Nikki Benz made to strike director Tony T's defamation suit against her, and that T.'s legal case will be allowed to proceed. Back in May, Benz filed an anti-SLAPP motion to strike against director Tony T.'s lawsuit.

T. filed a lawsuit against Benz and against porn production company Brazzers after Benz made statements on Twitter back in December alleging that she had been physically and sexually assaulted on a Brazzers set by T. Performer Ramon Nomar was in the scene in question and was originally suing Benz and Brazzers alongside T. but has since dropped out of the suit.

The court dismissed T.'s defamation suit against Brazzers on the grounds that Brazzers did not use and/or adopt the same statements that Benz did about the alleged event. Brazzers can seek attorney's fees and costs in court against T. now.

Benz has 10 days to file her answer to Judge Lyons' ruling and Benz's attorney has told AVN that the appeal is coming.
