Manuel Is No Longer Evil

I noticed in my porn viewing and reviewing travels that performer/director Manuel Ferrara has no new Evil Angel releases coming up on Evil Angel's schedule but plenty for Jules Jordan Video. The man has been directing in and performing in movies for both companies over the last year, but he has been an Evil Angel director since 2006 so seeing him not be on the Evil Angel schedule was a bit jarring for me so I asked Evil Angel what was up. Here's what they told me:

Evil Angel decided in 2016 that we needed a strict policy of director exclusivity. At the time, Manuel was shooting for us as well as Jules Jordan Video. We gave him an ultimatum and he chose the door.

Wow. So there ya go. This also explains why there have not been any new Jonni Darkko releases through Jules Jordan Video since "Black Cum In Me" back in October. It is really the end of an era - Ferrara's Evil Angel movies were just so good and he won a ton of awards for the movies he made there. I have reached out to Ferrara for his thoughts on all of this but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Ferrara's last Evil Angel release was "Raw 29: MILF Edition" and his latest Jules Jordan Video release is "MILF Private Fantasies".
