AVN Best New Starlet Holly Hendrix gets to be AVN Hall of Fame performer/director Steve Holmes, AKA Santa's special baby in this brand-new release from Jules Jordan Video - "Papa Holmes' Young Ladies". What did it feel like taking home one of the biggest awards that a female porn performer can win?

"It feels like a dream, like it's not real. I feel honored and special - more like a star than I have ever felt. I have to carry myself in a more respectable manner because all eyes are on me. I feel like it made me take a huge step in my career and that it made me more mature as a person and as a performer."

Who else in that category did you think that going to win that award, other than you?

"I thought it would either be Gina Valentina or Elsa Jean."

What does winning Best New Starlet mean to you?

"It means I'm doing something right. I am who I should be. It means all my hard work has paid off. You can have a successful career and be happy with what you do."

What do you hope that having this title does for you, both personally and in your career?

"I hope gives me the strength to push myself even higher and harder. I think it definitely influences me towards showing off and impressing others more. It moves me closer towards my goals in the business. It makes me feel better and stronger as a performer."

What type of projects are you looking to do from here? Has your creative agenda changed with this win?

"I plan on shooting a lot more personal content, and not just regular scenes. Yes, I have become more creative with the win; it has definitely helped with expanding my nasty, filthy mind."

What has the reaction of your fans been like to this? You talk to them a lot on Twitter.

"I have seen a definite increase in fans on Twitter; my number of followers has boosted a lot quicker than normal. I talk to them more, I have been getting fewer dick pics and more people are trying to actually communicate with me, especially other performers congratulating me or asking me for advice."

What do you remember most about your AVN Award-winning Most Outrageous Sex Scene in Darkko/Evil Angel's "Holly Hendrix's Anal Experience"?

"Me and Adriana Chechik had never worked together before, and I was really nervous. We prepped together and I recall telling her how nasty I wanted to be and I got a plastic ball stuck in my ass. Markus Dupree had to help get it out."

What can your fans expect from you in the coming year?

"Expect this tiny little anal spinner girl to reach new heights. More magic. More filth. Minds will be blown."

What do you want to achieve next?

"I want to start directing. It's always been a goal of mine. I want to create amazing, iconic, and memorable movies."

What advice do you have for a brand new porn performer who wants to experience the success that you have?

"Be yourself and do not let anyone or anything interfere with your road to success. Believe in yourself. In this industry, the only person you have to rely on is yourself. Do what you want to do. Don't let agents, peers, or directors dissuade you from following your dreams."
