Nikki Gets Mainstream Nods!

Little Dragon Pictures production company owner/performer/director Nikki Phoenix is up for Mainstream Star of the Year at the AVN and the XBIZ Awards, and between her porn company and her EDM, fitness training, and aerial yoga/stunt work, she is one hella busy lady. 

What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was the quiet shy one and went for the nerdy guys. I was into EDM music and raves. I was the ugly duckling back then because I was overweight and in abusive relationships. It was after I got into fitness and working out after I moved to Washington D.C. that I began mainstream modeling and then got into the industry because I wanted to express my sexuality and explore it."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"I wasn't a fan per se. I got into porn because I wanted a safe environment to express my sexuality and to be a role model to others to express theirs."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do?

"Hands down girl/girl, and my favorite so far has been the group scene I did in 'Sleepover Sluts 2' with Riley Reyes and Lynn Vega - two truly bisexual women who know how to please a woman and be pleased by one."

It was also amazing to see the support on Soundcloud from my fans with over 14 million plays on my music and the #1 EDM single last year in May with 3.3 million plays."

"It's amazing because it's a woman-friendly company run by a woman who loves women."

"I hike with my dogs, Thor and Titan - they are Dobermans - and of course work on my music and my aerial."

What is coming up for you?

"LOTS! I have upcoming music performances and my EP is coming out from my EDM Band JACKELD PHOENIX. I'm very flattered that both AVN and XBIZ nominated me for Mainstream Star of the Year this year! That means I'm now a nine-time nominee!!!"

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?

"I've got a soft spot for blondes with big boobs who love women, so the list is long. LOL."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new porn performer?

"Don't let other people tell you what you can and can't do. When someone says you can't do it, it simply means they can't. You can do anything you set your mind to and you should surround yourself with people who feel the same way and do the same thing."
