Sydney Is Sexier Than the Infamous Sexts

Sydney Leathers was launched into the public's radar thanks to her sexts with former United States Representative Anthony Weiner. Leathers starred in the Vivid Celeb parody of the relationship "Sydney Leathers: Weiner & Me". She has gone on to perform in a few other adult releases and will be doing more of that in 2016. Here is what she has to say about her life and career so far: 

What were you like back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was a bit of a chameleon in high school. I partied too much (which strangely was a good thing, I got it all out of my system), but I also got good grades. I had the same boyfriend throughout high school and hung out with all different types of people.

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"Unpopular answer: I had zero interest in porn before I stated doing it. I had never even watched porn until after my first movie came out."

What do you think shaped you into the performer that we see in the Vivid parody?

"Practice makes perfect, I guess?"

What/who do you want to do on-camera next? Do you want to make more movies?

"I'm dying to do a g/g/b threesome! I definitely plan to shoot a while longer."

What can fans expect from you in the future?

"Fans will have to keep watching to see what's next!"

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. Tell me how reaching your fans through the internet has changed things for you.

"I try to mostly just respond to positive tweets. Occasionally I'll retweet something where someone is being quite rude or insane but I've found the more attention I give to those people, the more of those people come out of the woodwork. But I always appreciate the positive people and try to be nice and interact with them."

What do you enjoy most sexually?

"I really enjoy rough sex on and off camera. Hair pulling, choking, spanking, etc. Doggy is my favorite position."

What did you love most about making the Vivid parody?

"I was really happy my first movie was directed by a woman. That really helped ease me into things and made me comfortable. It also helps that I made an obscene amount of money up front from it and still get residuals. That makes it an extra lovely experience."

Who have you enjoyed working with in porn most so far?

"I've gotten to work with so many amazing people. I'd say my favorites thus far have been Johnny Castle, Chad White, and Ryan Driller."

How has making this movie changed your life?

"Making Weiner & Me was a big deal for me in many ways, but most of all, it was a big decision because I had to use my actual name. That makes it tricky. Now I'm thinking about changing my legal name for privacy reasons. It's funny, because I see myself as a very normal person, but I do get recognized in public, especially when I'm traveling."

What do you most want the world to know about your affair with Anthony Weiner?

"I'm just happy to keep doing scenes. Porn isn't something I ever thought I would do but it's been a fun ride and I'm just enjoying it while I can."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I write for a site called The Frisky, I do porn, I hang out with my cats, I read. I have a variety of hobbies!"

What is coming up for you?

"I graduate college in May so that's what I'm most looking forward to. I love that I'm not what most people would expect from a 'porn star.'"

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"I really love the Hunger Games movies. I just binged on them recently and I was surprised by how into it I am!"

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"I love Joanna Angel and everything she does over at Burning Angel. Dying to get my hands on Tommy Pistol for them soon!"

Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you more low-tech?

"In Hitachi I trust."

If you could fuck any other celebrity (allegedly), who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

"Ryan Phillippe. I did an interview for Vice where I explained how I masturbated to him in Cruel Intentions the first time I touched myself. I tweeted to him. He didn't respond. I felt like a creep, but I'm cool with it. As far as women go, I like Angelina Jolie. Or Amber Heard."
