Charlie Sheen Announces Four-Year-Old HIV Diagnosis

Sheen Has Known He's HIV+ For Four Whole Years

Television star/regular tabloid denizen/porn star serial dater Charlie Sheen announced that he is HIV positive on NBC's Today show on Tuesday. He claimed that he has endured being “a victim of betrayal and extortion,” and that he has paid “millions” of dollars to an undisclosed number of sexual partners in order to prevent them from revealing his diagnosis to the press and the world.  

When asked if he has committed the crime of exposing anyone that he has had sexual contact with to his disease, he stated that it was "impossible."

Sorry, Charlie and everyone else on planet Earth, but there is no for sure, 100 percent perfect protection from HIV, even condoms. There is a very good chance that you will be OK with a condom, but condoms can tear under some conditions. I can't blame him for wanting to believe that there is zero chance of transmission, but the chance is still there. If his viral load is, in fact, super low, as is reported because of the antiretrovirals he has been treated with, he could still be sued and/or prosecuted for knowingly exposing his partners to HIV.

His former porn star girlfriend Bree Olson has openly stated that she is HIV negative and that her sexual contact with Sheen occurred before his diagnosis.
