Sweet, natural beauty Anya Ivy is quite the performer, and she does a phenomenal scene with AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue in director Mason's "Black Bombshells" for Hard X. Here are her answers to twenty questions about her life and career so far: 

What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with and date?

"In high school I was a competitive cheerleader and an honor student, so I kept pretty busy. I went to two different high schools, so I had many friends and exciting experiences. I wouldn't say I was with an 'in-crowd' since I kept mostly to myself and jumped in and out of all sorts of "crowds." In high school, I was just a fun girl to be around. I had a few steady relationships in high school, but I didn't know real dating until college."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars and favorite porn movies?

"I remember staying up late with my cousins just to watch late-night porn movies on the major networks. I even admit to having used internet porn on my cell phone just to get off at night so I can sleep! I've always known the world of porn existed but never imagined I would be in the center of it all. My favorite actress, before I began, was Skin Diamond, and when I met her I knew that things were getting real."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet? 

"I'd like to get more into the fetish/dominatrix/kink world. So far, as a porn actress, I've gotten to play out lots of fantasies but I've always wanted to wear lots of leather with a whip in my hand. I guess you could say I have an unquenched 'Christian Grey syndrome.'" 

Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

"I can't recall a particular favorite performer recently. Since I've been working in Los Angeles with top performers, everyone has been wonderful. I do, however, remember loving to work with performers in Miami, Florida, when I was still very new. There, the industry is less fast-paced, more relaxed, and the performers end up becoming your fishing trip buddies. I love L.A., but it is definitely a different environment from the East coast. Either way, I am learning so much for my future husband to enjoy!"

You seem to really love your fans and respond to your fan base a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

"I appreciate my fans who see me for who I am and who applaud the effort I put into my brand. When I wake up in the morning, I read the letters and tweets I get from loving fans and they encourage me to keep moving forward. I do get unpleasant messages, but I pay them no mind as every person has his/her own opinion. Having a connection to so many people I only know through the internet is surreal. It's one of the only pillars of encouragement I receive, and I can't imagine where I'd be without fan support."

What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

"Oh gosh, well, other than an actual position, I enjoy what happens before sex more than the act itself. The tease, heavy breathing and anticipation is what I love most. I suppose you could call me a foreplay junkie. Kissing collar bones, a firm embrace, and touching the skin right in between the thighs makes my heart want to explode."

What do you think are “must-own” DVDs for your fans?

"I would make sure everyone has a copy of the porn musical "Not Jersey Boys XXX" that I'm feature in. It was so much fun to work on and has won many awards. In it, I wear an afro wig and there are lots of song and dance numbers, so it is a joy to watch all around."

What do you like to do for fun?

"Traveling to new places always puts a huge smile on my face. I enjoy seeing things I've never seen before and exploring. I'm also a product of a very artistic family, so I'm sucker for anything in the arts. Going to see live music, visiting museums, dancing, and dining at great restaurants are things I love to do, just to name a few. I also sing, paint, and read books in my spare time."

What are the best things about being a porn star?

"The first thing I love about being a porn star is my sexual freedom. I have been able to portray lots of different characters and fulfill lots of fantasies, safely. I also enjoy networking with people in the industry and learning all I can about film techniques. Acting and film are passions of mine that I feel are strengthened by my role as a porn star in the center of all the action."

You really bring a lot of sexual energy to your performances. How did you evolve into the performer that you are today?

"Thank you! I have been an entertainer since I can remember. My family used to set up a tripod camera and let me sing and dance in front of it to my heart's desire. I have never been shy in front of a camera. However, I can get very shy in person with people. It is very odd. So even when it comes to intercourse, I always feel free in front of a camera."

What is your favorite type of scene to do?

"My favorite type of scene would be any one that pushes the levels of my imagination. I love to act out scenes and learn new things."

What/who do you want to do in porn that you haven’t done yet?

"As I've stated before, I'm very much into the S&M world. I can picture myself covered in skin-tight leather and even learning some rope-tying tricks. There are many things that I have done, but just as much that I have not. There are many worlds I have yet to explore."

Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

"Right now, I look up to my agent Sandy at OC Modeling. She's such a strong woman, well known in this industry, and highly respected. I ask her for advice when I need to hear from someone who has much wisdom in my field. I'm also receptive to her female point of view on things, as we are in an industry dominated by men. My agent gives me comfort and security in knowing she's got my back."

What do you most want to achieve as a porn star?

"As a porn star, I plan to grow as much as possible. My goals are mainly set on my transition into mainstream film, so I plan to learn all I can from everything that happens off-camera and perfecting film techniques. Paying attention to production is important. I plan to absorb many skills on my journey as a porn actress."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"I'm a horror film guru so I enjoy anything scary. Any movie based on a true story has me shaking in my boots. I love the feeling of the adrenaline you get from watching a horror film. It's like riding a roller coaster."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"As far as porn movies, I enjoy all types of remakes and parodies. I'm a fan of movies that re-create mainstream ideas and turn them into sexy ones. I feel that concept is very creative."

Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

"I have a vibrator plugged in to my bed side wall for anytime I need to "get off." Sometimes it's first thing [I do] in the morning when I wake, or if I need to fall asleep at night. I always say that I have yet to meet the person who can make me cum harder than I can myself."

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

"I would love to get intimate with Rihanna. She's someone I have idolized for such a long time and I feel would be super amazing in bed. My dream experience is also with the great actor Johnny Depp. He's such an amazing performer on-screen and I can only imagine what he would be like behind a closed door as well."

What is coming up for you?

"When I think about my future, I think of limitless possibilities. Exposing myself to the world has opened doors for me that I could have never imagined. I have many scenes that have yet to be released, however, I'm currently working on simply growing as an individual in this industry. I would just suggest keeping an eye on my progression."
