Twenty Questions with Porn Star Alli Rae

1. What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hangout with/date?

In high school, I was really meek and tried to keep to myself - it was rough, bottom line. I had a couple close friends, but mostly focused on my siblings and working towards me dreams. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety my Junior year, so after that happened I had to figure out what truly made me happy. The thing is, I don't think I'll ever really find what that is, but high school taught me I need a backbone. I didn't date more than once and I attended church regularly.

2. Were you a porn fan before you got in the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/porn movies?

BEFORE PORN, my favorites were Alexis Texas, Riley Reid and Lexi Belle (and Riley and Lexi are still in my Top Five today.) I watched a lot of girl/girl porn and BDSM boy/girl scenes, mostly because, I WORKED at an adult toy store before porn. Those are still my favourite types of clips to watch and you've got Excitement Video to say thanks for influencing my job choice.

3. What do you think shaped you into the hardcore performer that you are known for being?

I'm very rough on myself. I am my biggest enemy and toughest competition. My mamma made me a fighter and taught me that if it gets rough, it's time to get rough. I'm patient with my body (she's beautiful and very fragile,) but I always try to push my own limits beyond the comfort zone, reminding myself that NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES FROM A COMFORT ZONE and NO ONE OF GREATNESS STARTED OUT GREAT (or in a position of comfort.) You work your fucking ass off to be all you can be in whatever you do, no excuses. Practice until it becomes habit. Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself.

4. What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven't done yet?

THERE IS SO MUCH. In terms of performers, I'd love to work with Riley Reid, Lily Cade, Reena Sky, Abella Anderson, Piper Perri, Manuel Ferrara, Summer Brielle, Chad Diamond, Katrina Jade, Veruca James, Charlotte Stokely, Dillion Harper, Kissa Sins, Peta Jensen, Tommy Pistol, Jodi West, Alison Rey......the limit does not exist. I could eat every gal right up, like a cupcake!!! 6. You seem to really love your fans and you talk to them a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

This fan base can be a lot to handle sometimes. ;P I make sure I get enough time away from Twitter that I don't live in porn-land 24/7. But I try to focus on the followers who are younger, like me, who don't necessarily have an outlet for their sexuality. I can reach out to whatever fan base it is I have and share facts about marriage equality and birth control, things like sexual anatomy (that most schools REFUSE to teach) and feminism. I'm a big believer in speaking your mind when you believe in something strongly enough. Can't make change if you don't know your facts.

7. What's your favourite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

Missionary with my legs over the guy's shoulders, because I'm fucking intimate, or cowgirl, because it makes me squirt.

8. What did you enjoy most about being directed by Mason?

Mason was a blast. She's charming and hysterical - the kind of person that could probably make even Kanye smile. Working with her felt breezy and simple, the way it should. I love to see women directing and producing these days, she's empowering us all.

9. What do you think your fans would be most surprised to learn about you?

(You don't want to know the real answer to that, seriously.) They could be surprised to know I prefer G/G scenes and dating women over men. Ladies are soft and crazy...the kind of crazy I can actually handle. Boys confuse me. Plus, girls smell like cake and willingly watch Disney movies with me.

10. What are the best things about being a porn star?

I wouldn't say I'm a porn "star" (yet,) because I don't get easily recognized when people see me as 'Alli Rae.' My true mark of success will be when I go places and no longer have to introduce myself. Being a porn starlet, however, is cool, because I get to meet so many interesting people, like mainstream photographers that help expand my career and make-up artists who are also mom's of three that love their kids beyond words. What you do isn't important, it's how you make people feel, and if I can make anyone's day easier by being kind, do it.

11. What do you want to do most with your time in the adult industry?

Hopefully, change some of the common misconceptions about young women, sex, sexual anatomy, and the prejudices the industry sets against women.

12. How was working with James Deen?

James and I have shot together before, each scene explosive with passion and energy! Seeing him again was great, he's a trustworthy talent and friend.

13. Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

Ava Addams and Cherie DeVille are big inspirations for me, because they're classy while being two of the freakiest women I know! MILFs are my favourite, since they can teach you so much.

14. What does "pure desire" mean to you?

Pure: absolute, utter, being that and nothing else
Desire: a longing or craving, sexual appetite

15. What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

I HAVE BEEN FREAKING OUT ABOUT MAD MAX:FURY ROAD. It was brilliant. There was nothing to cry about and the cinematography STILL got to me. I love the fact that George Miller basically tricked guys everywhere into watching a movie about feminism. Teehee. 16. How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I don't watch porn anymore. I see too many bitches I know.

17. Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

I use the Hitachi or water pressure in my personal time.

18. If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

I've been digging Nick Jonas lately. He's fucking talented and, yes, damn it, physically fucking on point! Or Jason Derulo, oh, fuck me sideways. Females? Cara Delevingne, all the way. I wish I could wine and dine her so bad.

19. What is coming up for you?
