‘Hemlock Grove’ To Return For Third & Final Season

The Netflix original horror series Hemlock Grove may not be the best of their original offerings, but it's one of the most reliably skin-filled. Certainly more nudity than Lilyhammer. Well, rejoice fan of the show, it's been renewed for a third and final season.

According to Batty For Nudity (link below), the Eli Roth created series will wrap things up next year.

“We are so grateful to the fans of ‘Hemlock Grove’ who have championed the series so intensely over two seasons,” said executive producer Eli Roth. “We are looking forward to taking the last and final season into some dark and unexpected places, and to giving viewers the killer finale you’d come to expect from ‘Hemlock Grove.’”

The best news of all is that the entire press release is full of absurdly hyperbolic statements. Executive producer Chic Eglee, whose name looks like it's missing a few consonants, said, "Knowing it will be our last, gives us the opportunity to go out in a mushroom cloud of clever and soul shattering mayhem." 

Netflix VP of Original Programming Cindy Holland is also not above hyperbole stating, "we know that Chic, Eli and the team will provide a riveting and mind bending conclusion to complete the series.”

And finally, Gaumont CEO Katie O'Connell says that she's looking forward to "delivering a thrilling, suspenseful and bold narrative for this final chapter."

Man, I certainly hope this third season lives up to all that hype.
