Twenty Questions with Karla Lane

Voluptuous lovely Karla Lane stars in director Aiden Starr's Evil Angel release "Curvy Casting Couch" which releases on DVD and VOD on September 15th.  Lane has been nominated for BBW Performer of the Year by AVN and has been in the business for eight years.  She is a regular in Sensational Video's releases as well as on the Plumper Pass website and has worked for many other adult companies.  Her official website is launching later this year and host her own internet radio show titled appropriately "Voluptuous" on RadioTemptation.com.  She is active on Twitter talking to her fans, hosts a one a month BBW strip club night and will be throwing monthly sex parties at Club Sex Addict in Van Nuys, and a special one for Halloween.  Here are her answers to twenty questions 

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I really didn't go to a "traditional" high school, so that’s a weird question for me. I did date a lot when I was at that age and I did well in school.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I wasn’t much of a porn fan before I got into the industry. I was 18 when I started, so I didn't have much time to enjoy watching porn. I do have a thing for big fake boobs and big butts. Picture a Barbie type, but of any ethnicity and hair color.

3) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

Directing, I think that's something I'm looking forward to in the future. I enjoy watching POV girl/girl, so that might be something for me to look into doing some as well.

4) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

I actually don't have a favorite performer. I enjoy working with anyone. Basically, I just love having sex.

5) You seem to really love your fans and respond to them a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

It actually brought me out from semi-retirement. I went through a hard time a few years back and wasn’t doing very many scenes or really into being in the industry.

With Twitter I was able to reconnect with my fans. They would tweet and message saying that they missed me, so it gave me the motivation to start working again. I love my fans.

6) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

My favorite position would have to be doggy, because my ass looks fantastic in that position. I love it when the guy strokes me really hard and you can feel his balls bouncing off your clit.

7) You do a great solo scene in “Curvy Casting Couch”? Is that close to how you masturbate when you are at home?

I actually don't really masturbate. I always have a willing friend, boyfriend or my husband to help me out in that department, so I was actually really nervous during the filming of that scene. I think I did a really good job, of course with the assistance of Miss Starr.

8) What is it like working with director Aiden Starr?

Amazing, she's fantastic and I can't wait to work for her again. If she asked me to jump, I would say how high. It was an amazing opportunity and I'm grateful she liked me enough to hire me for her BBW line. 

9) What are the best things about being a porn star?

Getting paid to have people masturbate to your videos. There's no other profession in the world that gives you this kind of rush.

10) What do you think is your hottest scene overall?

There is a new project that I just did for April Flores and Courtney Trouble that I'm super excited about. I think it might be one of my hottest girl scenes ever! Let's just say Hitachi and strap-ons are amazing.

11) What advice would you give a woman who wanted to be better at pleasing her sexual partner?

Be confident because the worst thing is when a man can sense that you're not confident in yourself. Walk into a room and be confident, smile, make eye contact, and have a little wiggle in your walk. I don't have to be the most attractive person in the room, but if I walk in and I feel confident in myself, I can usually get most eyes directly on me.

12) What do you most want to achieve in the adult industry?

To show women that you can be comfortable in your own skin at any size. It's all about beaming positive images of women and overall size acceptance.

13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

I have always said Christy Mack. The way she has managed to make herself a mainstream commodity and the way she works with companies is incredible. The grace and poise that she has maintained after such a tragic experience just made me love her even more.

14) What do you like most about hosting Radio Temptation’s Voluptuous?

That Kacey Parker and I have control over what we say or do with our show. It's an incredible experience and we really enjoy Tuesdays more because of this.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

I just saw the “100 Foot Journey” and I really enjoyed it. I actually went to culinary school, so I enjoy movies about the culinary world and cooking. I had the privilege of enjoying the movie at an IPIC theater, which made the experience that much more exciting. Having a few cocktails while watching a movie about food…yes, please!

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I really enjoy watching XXX parodies. I don't have enjoy watching anyone in particular, because it's normally never the same cast. But, I enjoy the general idea of a porno with a full script and story.

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

If I do masturbate, I love using my Hitachi. It’s one of the best toys a girl can ever invest in. If you don't own one already, go buy an official Hitachi.

18) If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

It would actually have to be a couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie probably. Those two seem like they really enjoy each other. It might explain why they have so many kids. You see, I can be funny sometimes!

19) What is coming up for you?

My website officially launches soon hopefully and my radio show is going strong. I have a few new movies coming out. I'm just overall super excited about what’s coming up in 2015.

20) Is there anything you want to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?

Thank you for being there for me for the last 10 years and sticking around for hopefully the next 10 years. We have only just begun!
