The MPAA Would Prefer You Didn’t See Christoph Waltz’s Ass

TV/MOVIES

null

The MPAA, that awesome institution that makes sure movies don't have too much nudity or swearing (but just enough violence that it's safe to bring your kids to the theater), has already struck down one poster this year for featuring Eva Green's tit. Now they're at it again, keeping you and your children safe from the saggy ass of two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.

That poster up there is for Terry Gilliam's newest film The Zero Theorem, which has already opened in Europe to great acclaim, and it's set to be released her in the States at the end of the summer. However, if the studio wishes for people to know about it, they're going to have to go back to the drawing board on this particular poster.

Gilliam took the fight to Facebook, like any eccentric genius would, writing, "Zero Theorem off to a good start in the US thanks to the Motion Picture Association of America's censors. They have banned our teaser poster because of a bare butt. Your thoughts, please."

My thoughts are as follows. I don't want my daughters to have to be exposed to things they shouldn't be exposed to, like Christoph Waltz's ass. Eva Green's tit is one thing, I mean they saw my ex-wife's tits plenty when she was breastfeeding, but I don't need them holding up Waltz's ass as the ass by which all others are judged. It's setting them up for relatively impossible expectations in the future. I'm glad the MPAA is on the case once again.
