Sexy Conversations With Zalman King

DCypher reports: Back when "high priest of erotic filmmaking" Zalman King was busy turning David Duchovny from a forgettable off-Broadway Guildenstern into a bona fide sex symbol in "The Red Shoe Diaries", I was on the cusp of falling headlong into the tumultuous and unavoidable terrors of puberty. And by the time he let Mickey Rourke and the sizzling hot Carré Otis (who can forget those lips?) actually fuck on set in Brazil during the filming of "Wild Orchid", my imagination was running wild with the thought of marrying hardcore sex with real Hollywood stories. Sadly, much of this did not translate to the reality of ninth grade and I had to store away these vital lessons for (much) later use. But Zalman's influence on a whole generation of pornographers was significant.

Over the last several years, I'd forgotten the idol of my hormonal teen years and the influence he once had. But now, thanks to Hugh Hefner's all-sex channel I am reminded of my oh-so-humble roots: "Zalman King's Conversations with Women I Know About Sex" premieres tonight following the Late Night Movie on Playboy TV. Said the auteur himself in a press release for the series, "These conversations were so interesting, so filled with insight, drama and serious eroticism, that I decided to film them and share them with an audience.
