Open Directory Orgy

After receiving an irate email from a webmaster a couple of months ago complaining that his content was "plundered" when we posted a link to an unprotected area of his site (though really, if you know how to design a website to begin with you should also know how to plug up any entrance holes and force people to access it through your designated start page—right?), we've been leery of pointing you towards open directories, however tempting some of them may be. This Dutch site, however, is nothing but a collection of open directory sites, courtesy of folks who are presumably (A) too lazy to construct a thumbnail or graphic interface for their content and/or (B) are aware that a big part of the fun of browsing open directories lies in never knowing exactly what lies behind each unadorned text link. (As always, exercise caution when surfing blindly—some of the links here, especially in the "Adultpics" section, now redirect to pay site portals—though judging from a random selection of links in other sections on the site there are still plenty of more pleasant surprises in store.)
