Wild Lesbians Couldn’t Drag Us Away

We just happen to have it on good authority that Miss Maggie Mayhem and Mz Jolene Parton are two of the hottest fucking queer exhibitionist babes in the Bay Area.We also have it on good authority that there are lots of outdoor spots in the Bay Area for long sunny hikes and illicit pussy eating.

In fact, we suspect this is in Tilden Park, in a secret cruising spot far away from the dogwalkers and nature hike field trip. Because the only thing that smells better than Maggie Mayhem’s hairy cunt is Maggie Mayhem’s hairy cunt plus eucalyptus.

Two Tickets To A Live Sex Show

It’s May, which means it’s Masturbation Month. An entire month devoted to masturbation? Well hush my mouth! That probably explains a few things about my actions over the past few weeks with my beloved Lelo Ina, but that’s neither here nor there. There are many other ways to celebrate masturbation and Courtney Trouble picked arguably the best one when she decided to put together Live Sex Show: a film shot at the Center for Sex and Culture. The film was shot during San Francisco’s Masturbate-a-Thon, which was hosted by none other than Dr. Carol Queen of just about every iconic how-to videos under the sun. Not bad at all.

This ensemble piece is at its core a celebration of many different kinds of sexuality, all performed in front of a live studio audience of 200 queer porn aficionados. The result is something extremely uncommon in porn: a collection of sexual experiences which engage with various different notions of publicity and create a narrative of the interplay between intimacy and performance. That’s a pretty fancy way of putting it, but you’ll see what I mean, because you’re all buying this film. Did I mention that portions of the proceeds from the DVD, VOD and screenings go to the Center for Sex and Culture? Because they do and that is important. Go pay for this awesome porn. I’ll step down from this soap box now.

In another life, I was an opera singer. Now I’m an amateur theatre person when I’m not living the “All about the Benjamins” lifestyle of a porn PR/marketing person and blogger. I guess what I’m saying is that I know a thing or two about putting on a show, and by the looks of it, so does Courtney Trouble. The stage is pretty gorgeous, replete with sexy sparkly stuff, a big turquoise and purple couch and an ornately rococo red velvet tufted headboard. If I were to decorate my boudoir for an evening of queer sex, it would look much the same. Kudos to the set team.

Did the performances live up to the decorum of the event, the wild crowd and the opulent set? Hells yes it did! From start to finish, every single performer is a powerhouse. It’s too hard to pick a favourite scene (or even just a few), so here’s a quick run-down of the action to whet your appetite for the theatah:

We start out with Kimberlee Kline, clad in a fishnet unitard with a strategically placed hole and some very sexy pleather boots. She feels very dark cabaret (and I’m not talking Liza) as she slinks around and teases before parting her legs. It’s seductive performance, but it quickly gives way to what can only be described as furious, goal-oriented masturbation. The audience dissolves and it’s just her and the impending orgasm. It’s hot.

Jolene Parton and Peter Devries develop a really sweet, intimate connection through their various sexual endeavours, which feels incredibly natural and not at all performative. The sex is hot, of course, but it feels almost vulnerable. This is definitely a moment of voyeurism as opposed to overt performance, which I kind of like. On a personal level, I think this may be one of the most identifiable porn scenes I’ve ever watched. As someone with a very particular brand of sexuality, that’s a cool feeling, and I feel that it could be replicated for others with any of the scenes in this film.

Then the one, the only April Flores busts (no pun intended) out on the scene, vampy and campy and fabulous in sky-high heels, hot pink fishnets and an acid-washed faux-denim one-piece. As she plays with herself, she’s entirely in control of her sexuality, but certainly playing to the audience in her uniquely saucy way. When The Matador (her paramour, clad in a mask, black gloves and dark clothing) comes out to join her, she becomes uniquely orally fixated, performing to a certain extent, but for him. This scene unfolds in a way that feels dirty, hot and loving, and could only be shown in such a way between two people who really know each other.

Tina Horn and Roger Wood bring the kink in a scene replete with jock straps, flogging, spanking, impressively intense fucking and the kind of joie de vivre which makes queer porn exactly what it should be. They’re both so charismatic, yet so focused on the passion and excitement between each other, that this scene serves as a perfect blend of external and internal understanding of this kind of sexual performance scenario.

We thought it would be all over with Jiz Lee and Nina Hartley, because they’re the grand finale to end all grand finales. Nina is lovably chatty and verbose in a way that makes me giggle and smile, and Jiz participates in the discussion, enaging the audience as they share tidbits about shaving to match Nina, which of course is demonstrated as they assume the “Twinsies!” side by side comparison position. Nina fingers Jiz, slowly building to fisting, which ended up being quite a problem for distribution, ultimately getting this video associated with International Fisting Day. After an impressive orgasm, it’s Nina’s turn to get fingered, which is full of as much chattiness and story-telling as one would hope. It’s endearing and it perfectly frames the charming relationship between the two of these clearly kindred spirits.

Just when you think it’s all over, the curtain call is an impromptu gang bang of director Courtney Trouble. Everyone is in on the action, and it is just as hot, awesome and spontaneous as you could possibly imagine. It’s a fitting way to end a phenomenal evening of live sex, and it sure beats taking a bow.

How “Fuckstyles Of The Queer And Famous” Changed My Life

Guess what? I watched this movie, and now I’m into things I never knew I liked. That’s what happens when someone sends you a copy of “Fuckstyles.” Things get freaky, synapses start unfolding, your sexual desires expand; it’s like receiving a music box in the mail, opening it, and finding a couple of knife-play-loving queers on the inside.

Fuckstyles of the Queer and Famous

Studio: Trouble Films
Directors: Courtney Trouble and Tina Horn
Cast: Arabelle Raphael, Jiz Lee, Wolf Hudson, James Darling, Papi Coxxx, Jolene Parton, April Flores, Sophia St. James, Maya Mayhem, Max Wellander, Varina Adams, Tobi Hill-Meyer, Maggie Mayhem, Ned Mayhem

“Fuckstyles” is a collection of Courtney and Tina’s favorite scenes that they shot over the last year, but this is more than a greatest hits record; it’s a love letter to smut watchers everywhere–whether or not they’re familiar with queer porn–that encourages openness, curiosity, and horniness without boundaries or labels. It begins as all love letters should: with Jiz Lee and Papi Coxxx putting on some gloves and touching each other tenderly.

Well, it’s tender for a moment. Papi gets their glove ready with a healthy dose of lube, and Jiz looks at their hand with affection and anticipation, knowing that there’s going to be some serious G-spot tweaking in a moment. Some people complain that sex with latex gloves is “unnecessary,” “too safe,” or “oddly clinical,” but I challenge those people to watch Jiz play with Papi’s pussy and not get excited. Heck, Jiz gets so into it that it sounds like they’re furiously typing away at a wet computer! How does Papi respond? With a blazing orgasm: their voice first lets out a feminine screech and then belly flops down a billion octaves to make a long, brutish grunt. And did I mention that the whole scene is bathed in green neon light, and that a mysterious artist sketches Jiz and Papi while they play?

If you asked me a week ago, “Ottimo, how do you feel about knives showing up during sex?” I would’ve responded, “Nuh-uh, not my steez.” Then I watched Max Wellander run her blade up and down Varina Adams’s body, slice off the straps of her tank-top, and tease her flesh with cold, sharp steel. I tried to take notes during this scene, really I did–I wanted to remember Varina’s warm smile as Max rests the handle of her knife against her midriff, and the way Max’s jaw falls open when Varina makes her come–but I was way too distracted to think about writing this review.

Basically, I got my ass handed to me by a porn film; now my ass is covered with knife-bites and glitter. How did this happen? Life is beautiful.

Hey, and speaking of asses and hands, let’s talk about Quinn Valentine’s ass getting handled by Sophia St. James! Quinn, ever the cowboy, keeps only his boots on while Sophia explores his anus with her fingers and fat strap-on, an act she does with such focus that I wondered if she enjoys it. My one complaint about the scene is that I wish Quinn would lavish more attention and touches on Sophia, but at the same time, I respect Sophia’s generosity. She gives this lucky boy everything he could possibly ever want (yes, I do feel jealous, thanks for asking) and the grand finale involves Quinn riding the strap-on while Sophia jerks him off on her chest. Then he lies right down on her torso, snuggles up between her huge boobs, and dozes off; not even a thousand North Face sleeping bags look cozier than this.

Remember Ned and Maggie Mayhem, that adorable couple who runs Meet the Mayhems? Well, they have a scene in “Fuckstyles” and it’s spectacular. For a second, I thought I was watching “This Ain’t a Norman Rockwell Painting XXX.” These tall, blonde, clean-cut, young Americans tear at each other with wanton lust, spanking each other raw before fucking, and when Ned finally slips inside his lady’s pussy, there’s no stopping them. If you put a piece of coal between them, it’ll come out as a diamond; that’s how hard they go. Obviously, there’s more to a scene than the climax, but I’m kind of obsessed with the way these two come: Maggie’s orgasms seem to come from all over her body, especially when the Hitachi Magic Wand is in play and she flushes deep red from head to toe. Ned’s explosion is big and wet: his face drips with sweat, he covers Maggie’s body in jizz, and he wails without a hint of self-consciousness. Then, because he’s a gentleman, he licks his come off her tits and they hug and giggle.

Last year, Courtney Trouble gave everyone free access to the scene in which Wolf Hudson fucks James Darling in his tight pussy in a bathroom, and if you didn’t watch it then, you have all the more reason to get “Fuckstyles.” I enjoyed watching these gents go at it for a second time, and I got to better appreciate the way the sunlight dripped in the room, highlighting some ass cheeks, casting faces in shadow, etc. James is a gorgeous man, and we love how he bites his lips when Wolf fucks him from behind. And Wolf, well, everyone knows we’re crushing on Wolf Hudson.

“Fuckstyles” is insane. Frankly, I’m getting excited just writing about it! Sure, there are scenes that I feel less than enthusiastic about, but there’s something about queer porn that keeps you engaged and interested, and every scene has a few gems worth filing away in your fantasies. I was looking forward to Arabelle Raphael’s scene with Jolene Parton (a phenomenal stage-name, by the way), but found the pace a little too slow for my tastes. However, I can still hear the sound of glass toys clinking together as Jolene’s strap-on touches Arabelle’s butt plug–that kind of thing sticks with you. On a similar note, I thought Maya Mayhem and Tobi Hill-Meyer–two cute trans girls having lesbian sex with a strap on–were too hesitant with each other, but they look so happy to be together that I was happy to watch them.

How does such a marvelous movie end? With April Flores touching herself! This isn’t just a masturbation scene, it’s a dance performance with a dildo. She writhes smoothly, leaves deep lipstick marks on her nipples, and sucks her plastic cock while looking up to the ceiling, as if she’s really blowing a man. I get a synesthetic response from watching her touch herself–I taste cinnamon, flour, and lipstick. Oh, April Flores, you are a tasty dessert.

It’s obvious that I had a blast watching this film, and I strongly urge you all of you to try “Fuckstyles” for yourself. Maybe you’re already steeped in queer smut, maybe you’ve been watching nothing but Hustler’s “Barely Legal” (no disrespect), whatever your smut situation is, hear my words: this movie needs to be in every respectable person’s porn collection.

Carol Queen Is "Going Down"—And She’s Willing To Teach You How

Carol Queen Is "Going Down"—And She's Willing To Teach You HowHow many ways are there to teach cunnilingus? A whole lot more than one, it seems—especially when porn enters into the equation. Out this month: Good Releasing’s “Going Down: The Official Guide to Cunnilingus,” featuring Dr. Carol Queen.

Good Releasing isn’t the first company to tackle the topic of oral pleasure (and they certainly won’t be the last), but they do approach the subject in a novel way. “Going Down” isn’t so much a porno as it is an explicit documentary: the “scenes” aren’t twenty minute extravaganzas, they’re short bursts of hardcore goodness (maybe 5 minutes each, tops) mixed in to a landscape of real couples discussing their oral sex likes and dislikes, and, of course, some serious (but fun!) education from Carol Queen herself.

Through the hour long feature, Carol covers an exhaustive amount of information, ranging from the basics of female anatomy and tongue techniques to strategies for making your partner feel more comfortable with her body—and, of course, all important tips about how to keep your neck from cramping. It’s a good, solid lecture (not that we’d expect less from Dr. Queen), and though it sometimes feels like the release is heavier on the telling than the showing, we can’t really fault anyone for wanting to give Carol Queen extra screen time.

Also noteworthy is Good Releasing’s inclusion of many, many different types of people—both as performers and, ahem, cunnilingus commentators. Old, young, straight, queer, fat, thin, and people every color under the rainbow turn up on screen to proclaim their love of licking labia (or having their labia licked). It’s a nice reminder that sexuality isn’t restricted to the young, white, and skinny—no matter what pop culture might like to make us think.

On the whole, “Going Down” is best for those who like their education with a side of titillation, rather than those hoping for naked action as the main course in their sex ed buffet. It’s a good, solid guide to how to please a lady—one with the added bonus of naked, writhing Madison Young popping up to say hi every now and again.
