I’m not a trans woman, or a trans man. (Side note, I am not cisgender, either.) These are just my observations of what I believe is missing from the mainstream trans porn genre – and things for fans and cisgender participants to remember when watching trans porn. I am interested in the genre, and want to be an ally to trans porn performers, simply because i love my friends who happen to be trans porn performers, and I want to do what I can to support their work.
dearest fleshbot readers,
thank you for sharing this week with me. it seems like we went all over the place, didn’t we? gay porn, puppy dogs, heart throbs, latex… what didn’t we talk about?
Sometimes a nude fashion spread just makes us giggle. Like this one of Vaneza Palaez covered in gold dust. Then as we’re giggling we realize Vaneza Palaez looks really really hot covered in silly gold sparkly stuff. And we start thinking about how she probably needs an assistant to rub glitter on her or instruct her in the best ways to writhe about in a pile of sticky glitter to get it just right and about we are soooo overqualified for that position. And then we think about how not all that glitters is gold; sometimes a glittery thing is a naked lady!
We don’t know about ya’ll, but when we play dress up there is baroque furniture, brightly-colored bondage tape, and taxidermy involved. Of course, all of our friends are perennially naked babes. We do each other’s nails and read tarot cards and order pizza and prank call our crushes. All while wearing the finest in luxury lingerie! (Well, the babes wear the satin assless panties and ornate corsets and strappy body suits, we just wear stripped cotton jammies and a terrycloth robe like Don Draper…)
Fresh outta Omaha, Icky Blossoms is an electro-pop power trio generating buzz for their atmospheric grooves (ok, this is a naked girl site, not a music review aggregate, so if you want more creative descriptions of hip bands we’re sure you can’t spit without smacking something nice and smug in the face). Their latest video splices together tons of 70′s porn to the beat of their song Cycle. The nudity and hardcore only comes in snatches (ahem) but it’s worth watching for the soft-lit O-faces and sweet glittery disco scenes.
Today is Courtney Trouble’s birthday! What a fitting conclusion to her stint at the reigns of our humble site. If there is the possibility that you can trust people over 30, this woman is it. All week she’s been giving us an eyeful of queer smut, exclusive previews, and of course lots of her own smoldering naked body! Not to mention the decade she’s spent documenting radical people having filthy sex (perhaps the understatement of the century).
