EDITORIAL FEATURES

Sera's Songs!

Brand new porn performer Sera Moon was kind enough to send her Fleshtunes over. Enjoy!

My personal development has coincided with many great musical discoveries throughout my life. As a poet myself, I have always admired other artists who can put words to feelings and experiences that are often difficult to express clearly and coherently. Music that is raw, emotional, powerful, bold, unapologetic, experimental, political, and genre-bending appeals to me most. My favorite artists have lives as exciting and important as their work. I love to listen to artists that make me feel that there is a common thread of human experience
between us.

“Israel” by Willow Smith. Willow has such an enchanting voice and her lyrics are incredibly poetic. When I delved into her music, I really felt a connection between her and I; we both seem to feel life deeply and have a mesmerizing way of relaying our experiences to others. Her storytelling in this song is breathtaking.

“Efflictim” by WZRD. Kid Cudi is one of my absolute favorite artists and I love his early music projects. He has a very ornate way of expressing his emotions and the way he has been so open and raw about his mental health issues resonates with me. He contemplates
the meaning of life and spreads positive messages about living better and making the most out of our time on this planet.

“Seven” by Tash Sultana. This song is pure magic. All the instruments Tash plays fuse together into this perfect, peaceful, and profound masterpiece. The drop is pure audio gold. I love to do yoga to Tash Sultana’s music.

“Purple Rain” by Prince. Prince is one of my favorite artists. His style and unabashedness to be himself is so inspiring to me, and he was so gifted artistically. I saw the Purple Rain movie in theatres when they re-released it a few years ago and fell in love with his style. His performance at the Super Bowl singing this song in the pouring rain will stick in my mind forever.

“ARTPOP” by Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga was a pivotal artist for my adolescence. Her bold fearlessness and neverending experimentation inspired me in my journey to become the powerful woman I am. ARTPOP was a new era for her work, and I loved that she always kept us guessing. In this song and in her career, she shows how art is truly how and why she lives and I admire her dedication to creating something real.

Follow Moon on Twitter to keep up with what she has going on and here's what I am listening to. Stay safe out there, everybody.
