Jennifer Lawrence Is Digging The Nudity

J-Law Is Cool With Nudity Now

I was already pretty excited about Red Sparrow since I'm a fan of Jennifer Lawrence and her body of work, but now that I'm hearing there's a scene where she's completely nude in the film, I'm ready to start camping out by the local movie theater. In fact, J-Law was apparently so enjoying being nude on set that she made the crew a little uncomfortable. I only believe part of that statement.

There's a nightmare scene in the film where Jennifer Lawrence is nude in front of a class, which is a scary dream we've all had in one form or another. But after the director called cut, Jennifer Lawrence was fine staying nude. As she put it:

"Everybody made me feel so comfortable that I probably at a certain point started making everybody else uncomfortable. Because I'd be like 'I don't want the robe. I'm hot. I'm eating.' Everybody's like, 'She needs to cover up.'"

And it seems a nude Jennifer Lawrence might be something we'll be seeing more of.

"So you know I'm always gonna take on roles for the same reason, you know, the character speaks to me and the director and the story. But I'm no longer gonna let that be a factor in my decision making."

After being hacked back in 2014 Jennifer Lawrence felt pretty bad, but doing the nudity in this film felt pretty empowering. She stated that it felt like she was getting something back that was taken from her. I have never been happier to say, more power to Jennifer Lawrence. If we get more Jennifer Lawrence nudity on the big screen, more power to you. Hell, all the power to you.

Red Sparrow and Jennifer Lawrence's next nude scene hits theaters March 2nd. Hopefully it won't be as awkward as her last nude scene.
