Cinemax has announced that the hugely popular and hugely hot drama "The Knick" will not be coming back for a third season. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, the show told the stories of the sexy doings and the medical and social breakthroughs happening at New York City's The Knickerbocker Hospital in the early 20th century. Clive Owen starred as a brilliant, very drug-addicted head of surgery and there was always some kind of nude fun in every episode of the show.
“After a critically acclaimed two-season run of The Knick on Cinemax, we will not be going forward with additional episodes of the series,” Cinemax president of programming Kary Antholis said in a press statement. “Despite our pride in and affection for the series, as well as our respect for and gratitude towards Steven Soderbergh and his team, we have decided to return Cinemax to its original primetime series fare of high-octane action dramas, many of which will be internationally co-produced.”
This show had a ton of story left to tell and oh, yeah, there were so many hot chicks in the cast - rich and often topless socialite Juliet Rylance, teen prostitute Rachel Korine (shown above doing a weird fetish-y strip tease of sorts for her corrupt hospital administrator beau), nurses Emily Kinney and Eve Hewson....the show was just filled with great sex, great fleshy tease and gritty, engaging storylines.
