"Twin Peaks" and All Its Nude Weirdness Is on the Way!

Showtime's new "Twin Peaks" series is on the way and will debut on the network on May 21st, which really can not arrive soon enough for me. I am SUCH a fangirl of the original series. I have been to Snoqualmie Falls where the show was shot and I have eaten cherry pie at the Twedes cafe in North Bend, Washington where the diner scenes of the show were shot. (The pie was pretty good.) 

Showtime has announced that before the show airs that they will be airing "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" on the network and on demand beginning on March 1st. If you have not seen it, you kinda need to. Sheryl Lee in the lead role of doomed girl Laura Palmer was and is, to me, one of the very sexiest women ever in cinema, period. Her character's vices, lusts and dirty secrets just resonated with me in so many ways when I first saw the movie and I have to admit that they still do.The nudity in it is epic with Lee and friend shown above Moira Kelly, along with other women exhibiting smoldering and weirdly kinky sensuality throughout it all. Hell, David Bowie even has a cameo role in it - this movie is just that cool. The movie details the seven days before teen queen Palmer's murder and it is truly an unforgettable journey. The return of this show just holds so much promise!
