Emmy Rossum Gets The Money She Wants To Do More “Shameless” Nudity

Emmy Should Be Back For Season Eight!

Variety is reporting that hot as fuck actress Emmy Rossum will be returning for another season of the Showtime Series "Shameless". 

She was involved in a dispute with the powers that be over her rate of pay and how it didn't match up with co-star William H. Macy's paycheck. The network has not officially confirmed that "Shameless" will be returning for season eight but Rossum announced on her Twitter feed that she will be back so hopefully that means that the well-loved series is, in fact, coming back for another season. 

Rossum had originally asked for MORE money than Macy to make up for the fact that she was being paid less than Macy before that but apparently, they have now settled on her receiving the same pay that Macy receives for his work on the series.

What I love most about this story is Macy's reaction to all of this to TMZ. He told them, "The only thing I’ve got over Emmy Rossum is I’m better looking.” 

What a sweetie. He is such a talented force of nature and he didn't have to say that at all but I love that he supports her.

I also love that the fact that women get paid way less for doing the same jobs as men in our society became something that got put into the light with this. So, yay to more of Rossum's naked self and yay to another woman out there getting paid the right amount of cash for what she contributes to the world!
