Toes Are God's Ears

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.

Even if you aren't a religious person, when someone says they want to pray for you, you usually let them. Whether you believe in a higher power or not, it's always nice to know there people out there who care about you enough to pray to their higher power of choosing to bring you good fortune. Of course there are many different ways to pray, but one Florida woman discovered that for some, the only way to communicate with a God above is to suck some toes.

Sitting outside her Gainesville apartment enjoying a nice cigarette a Florida Woman was approached by 52-year-old Hasmukhbhai Patel, who said he wished to pray for her. The Florida Woman agreed, most likely thinking nothing would come from it. Patel began his prayer by rubbing her feet and then he placed all 5 toes from one foot in his mouth.

The woman told police she tried to stand up and push Patel away, but he put both of his hands on her thighs to stop her, according to the report. She was eventually able to run away, head inside her apartment and lock the door.

Soon the police arrived and began to question Patel. At first Patel claimed only to be praying, then only touching her feet, and then sucking on her toes after the Florida Woman requested it. You know, if Patel really was a religious man he would have claimed a higher power told him her toes were full of sin and that he could suck away the badness. Not really believing any of Patel's versions of the events, he was arrested on a charge of simple battery.

We all experience religion in a different way. Some pray with hands clasped, other by chatting, and apparently some like to have a foot in their mouth. You know, every religion can sound crazy to someone on the outside.
