That's One to Get a Fee Taken Off Your Cell Phone Bill

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union. 

Cellphones have become a way of life. I honestly can’t think of anyone who still has a landline. And while being able to carry a tiny computer in our pockets is pretty awesome, I think we can all agree there’s still some pain at the pump every time we get our cellphone bill. All the fees and charges really do add up and let’s be honest, sometimes it can even make us a little angry. But one Florida woman showed her anger in a rather unusual way . . . by flashing the cellphone store clerk.  

According to the Panama City police the woman become upset after she attempted to pay her $70 cell phone bill but learned there was an additional $5 fee she had to pay. The woman first threatened physical violence against the clerk, but then decided to go in the opposite direction by lifting up her dress and revealing she wasn’t wearing anything on underneath.  

Ah, yes the old “give a flash to get the $5 fee removed from the bill” routine. Works every time . . . except this time.  

The store clerk called police, not out of fear for her safety, but to report the incident and have the woman charged with indecent exposure.  

The officer called the suspect and identified himself to the woman who answered. “I asked (her) why she would pull her dress up and expose herself,” he reported. “She said she pulled up her dress because she was being overcharged. I explained to her that the incident was recorded by security camera and that a criminal charge would be pursued. 

“(She) dropped the call.”  

And yes, the entire incident was caught on tape, but that hasn’t been released to the public. The investigation is on going - we’ll have to keep an look our for any further developments.
