You Have To Stand Out From The Crowd

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.

Being an artist of any kind – actor, musician, painter, or even a street performer – is a hard life. It takes a lot of work, a ton of dedication to make your mark. It can years to find what makes you stand out in crowd and have people not only see, but really appreciate your art… or you could dress up in a bikini and dance on a street corner like Florida resident Charles Easter.

Of course his bikini bod and dance moves aren’t the only thing that help people remember Easter, his head tattoo that reads “Holla!” is another good way to know if it’s the real Charles Easter dancing in a bikini or just someone pretending to be Charles Easter dancing in a bikini. Mr. Easter is actually pretty well know in Florida and has told local newspapers he can make up to a thousand dollars day with his art.

But it appears the Mr. Easter ran into some trouble with the law, but the details are still a little fuzzy.

It's not known yet what transpired to lead police to arrest Charles Easter, 38, on the charges, but this is not his first brush with the law.

Easter has an extensive criminal record in Miami-Dade county with 27 arrests on charges ranging from indecent exposure, trespassing to panhandling and drinking in public.

You know what this is people, censorship. That’s right, nothing, but plan, good ol’ fashion art censorship. Look just because you don’t understand the art doesn’t mean you get to shut it down! Hopefully everything will get worked out between Mr. Easter and the law so he can go back to pleasing his audiences soon.
