Obscenely cool porn star Kassondra Raine just does not appear in as many porn movies as I want to see her in. Here are some songs that make her smile.

1."From the Cradle to the Grave"-Subhumans. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best songs ever written. It eloquently describes the manipulation and programming that turns out generation after generation of slaves to society and government. I absolutely love the Subhumans; their music speaks my heart - my passions, frustrations, hopes, and heartbreak. It's therapy.

2."Refusing to be a Man"-Propagandhi. I have been at odds with gender roles and sexuality since I can remember. I refused to be a "woman," or rather what I was taught a woman was supposed to be. This song expresses those same feelings and issues, coming from a male perspective. It resonates with me on a deep level.

3. "46 & 2"- Tool. I love all Tool, but I chose this song in particular because it describes facing and understanding the shadow - the "dark" parts of ourselves that are often rejected, suppressed, blamed, and denied. I'm extremely introspective. I have discovered that the more I truly understand myself and embrace the parts of myself that I fear, the more free I become. Self understanding is key in our perception of everything else.

4. "Imagine"- John Lennon. This song is magic. It speaks one of my heart's deepest desires. I'm a dreamer too...Are you??

5. "War Nerve"- Pantera. This song (like all Pantera) is therapy, like metaphysical acupuncture. It can take my feelings of hopelessness, frustration, victimhood, depression, etc. and transmute them into feelings that are self-empowered. Through it, I acknowledge and embrace a part of my own "dark" side. It's extremely cathartic.
