Ever Wonder Which Network Has the Most Nudity?

For the longest time the consensus has been that HBO was the network of choice for nudity on television, even over Cinemax, which gave us the late night fun of “Skinemax.” But now HBO is taking a backseat when it comes to the most boobs, butts, and bush on television. The new leader in nudity is Netflix.  

In the first of hopefully many SKINsights, the wonderful people over at Mr. Skin took a look at the current batch of shows being renewed for a new season and put a list together of what network gave the viewers the most titillating entertainment. Netflix has 12 shows that are currently full of nudity like Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, and Marco Polo. Coming in second was Showtime with nine shows, including personal favorites Masters of Sex, Shameless, and the new show Roadies, which opened with some awesome nudity. Though it’s not all that surprising that Netflix would be in the lead, it was a bit of a shocker to learn that HBO was fifth behind Netflix, Showtime, Amazon, and Starz. Well, I guess Starz is the real shocker there because I thought they weren’t a network anymore. Just imagine how many nudity-filled shows Netflix would have had if they kept their partnership with Starz. The only super surprise was We TV—they had one show with nudity, Kendra on Top.  

Speaking of nudity, in case you were wondering what body part is seen the most, the answer is: the boobs! Of the top three shows with nudity (Shameless, Game of Thrones, and Masters of Sex) over 50 percent of the time you were staring at someone’s boobs, which isn’t bad when you think of the stars of those shows and their wonderful boobs.
