Superstar all-girl performer Sinn Sage was AVN's All-Girl Performer of the Year for 2015, and she is truly unforgettable as far as her lesbian porn work goes. Sage is a reliable, professional, passionate performer and an excellent role model for other women in the business, as she does what pleases her and has turned that into a lengthy, successful career. Sage stars in Sweetheart Video's latest release "Lesbian Adventures Older/Younger 9" where she does a super scene with Megan Rain while being directed by AVN Hall of Famer Dana Vespoli.

What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was a goth person in high school so I hung out with people who were all different and didn't fit in. I was a good student and I had a girlfriend for three months. That is the only actual relationship I have ever had with a woman."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"No, I was not a porn fan. I just wanted to be a porn star since I was too young to watch porn. I always knew that I wanted to do sex work."

What do you love most about being a porn star?

"Probably the freedom to express myself in a creative way that I enjoy. I love the performance aspect of it and the freedom it gives me in my life."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"My husband Drake Man'OWar and I started performing together for my website and my clip store. We haven't done multiple scenes yet and I want to do BBG, BGG and a group scene." 

Who is your favorite female performer to work with so far and why? 

"I don't like picking favorites but Ela Darling is is my genuine real life friend and I just adore her. I love her in every sense."

You seem to really love your fans and you talk to them a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about this group of people in your life?

"I talk to them to a fault. I see other girls ignore their Twitter feed and I think that sometimes that is a good idea. There are all different people who are on there and there are some who are awesome and some days I get a few people seem obsessive and unhealthy. It is a strange dynamic on Twitter. It gives you access to so many types of people and the diversity can be overwhelming. I am not so invested in Twitter but it is my link to my fans. They have been so generous to me. When I had my hip replacement surgery and couldn't work for three months, one fan started a charity donations page for me and then people made donations.  It was incredibly helpful having that money to pay rent, bills and to feed me while I was healing."

How is being directed by Dana Vespoli?

"I've been working for Sweetheart for a long time and we have a rhythm and pacing and structure down pat. I love Dana—she is my favorite person in the industry and being around her is a pleasure. She is cool and really creative and she puts me in great scenes."

How was working with Megan Rain?

"She is awesome. I love her. A lot of times working with 19 year olds can be a struggle but she was the opposite. She is enthusiastic and has that fire. I always appreciate someone who is connected and has that passion."

What do you most want to achieve as a performer?

"I want to inspire people to be who they are, to be more sexual or free, to be more expressive."

What makes a great scene partner?

"When there is a genuine attraction. Just a genuine passion and the ability to go back and forth with sexual energy, to pitch and catch that energy alignment. I love that energy and eye contact. If I don't have that with someone, I will grab her face and ask her to look at me. Once I catch their eyes, I get more eye contact and more sexual energy in the scene."

What do you think are “must-own” DVDs for your fans so far?

"'Sinn Sage Loves Girls', 'Lesbian Adventures Wet Panties Trib 4', 'Dani Daniels Dare' for Elegant Angel. We won an AVN award for that and it's one of the best scenes I have ever done."

Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

"None. It used to be that if you didn't do b/g, your shit wasn't getting noticed. I never believed I would win an AVN Award and when it happened, OMG, my head exploded. Getting that recognition from within my own industry and having my value as a performer appreciated was important and the sense of what an all-girl performer is is changing. I am about to do first trans/lesbian scene for Kink."

What advice to you have for a woman who wants to be a better sexual partner?

"I would say to let go of your emotional barriers in that moment and just give yourself completely. You don't have to know them but in that moment, you are giving everything. Let it go, let it happen."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"Deadpool. It was funny and I like Ryan Reynolds but it has problems as a movie. Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the best movies I have seen in a movie theater."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"Nope."

Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

"I use vibrators with clit stimulators while I fuck."

"David Duchovny. I love him but I really love Mulder."

What is coming up for you?

"I have transitioned into making own my stuff sold through my stores and I also make custom videos that are available in my stores. That is a lot of my income right now."
