Rihanna’s Music Video for “Kiss It Better” Will Make You Forget About MTV

You Would Never See Rihanna Being This Sexy on Basic Cable

You know, I used to be one of those people who whined and complained that MTV didn’t show music videos anymore. Well, thanks to Rihanna, I think I’m completely over that because if MTV still played videos they wouldn’t be playing Rihanna’s new music video “Kiss It Better” because . . . well, just watch and find out.  

I may still have a problem with the quality of the programming on MTV and yes, I know I am no longer their demographic, but for a channel that was created for musicians to promote their music with videos, they are kind of falling down on the job. But thankfully the internet has taken the place of MTV, and not only can artists promote their music with videos, but they can show us a lot more than they could on basic cable. And when it comes to showing more, Rihanna is probably at the top of the game. Holy crap, her videos just keep getting sexier and sexier. I’m not surprised by this at all since just about anything Rihanna does is sexy, I’m just happy there is a place where music videos and Rihanna’s incredible sexiness can exist together.  

So, today I will hang up my hang up with MTV no longer playing music videos. Instead I will focus on the future of music videos, mainly the music videos of Rihanna, which I have to admit are pretty damn awesome and better than anything I have ever seen on MTV . . . other than “Land of Confusion” by Genesis.
