So how was your year as AVN's Female Performer of the Year? What about it made it special?

"It was such an honor to be AVN Female Performer of the Year! It was one of my busiest and most blessed years of my career! I started feature dancing and going on the road to meet my fans at Exxxotica. I also started my own production company with my husband Mick Blue and our friend Maestro Claudio called BAM Visions, which is distributed through Evil Angel. Along with that, I found a new passion in directing my own movies for BAM Visions. To culminate the year, I hosted the 2016 AVN Awards with Joanna Angel! It was so amazing and such an honor. My favorite part about being AVN Female Performer of the Year was sharing the throne with my amazing husband, Mick Blue! It was truly incredible sharing that experience with him and being the first couple in porn to win Performer of the Year together!"

What is it like married to AVN's now two-time Male Performer of the Year?

"I love being married to Mick! He has always been the most amazing man even before he won Performer of the Year. I am so proud of his success and support everything he does in his career! He is the hardest, ahem, working man I know. I can also brag that I am married to the most sexually talented man in the world ;-)."

Congrats on your work with BAM Visions! It has all been so solidly hot. What will you be doing next there?

"Thank you! I love directing and producing for our own company and working with Evil Angel. I love Evil Angel and am so proud to produce content through them now! I am currently working on a movie that involves sexy people I have never fucked before, but always wanted to. I'm not sure what to call it yet, but it will be along the lines of "Anikka's Fuckit List". :-) As a director and producer, I have more creative control in what I want to shoot and it's wonderful to put my devious sexual fantasies on film for my own company!"

How did Mason come to you with her idea of pitting you up in this title "against" Kelsi Monroe?

"Mason has wanted to do a 'Vs' movie for some time now and we talked about it in the past. She decided to make a movie with Kelsi Monroe and I because of our epic booties and sexual prowess. I was so happy to hear she wanted to "pit me up against" Kelsi, because she was someone I had always wanted to work with but until then had never had the chance to.

What do you enjoy most about Kelsi Monroe?

"I love Kelsi's eager sexuality. She really throws herself into a scene wholeheartedly. I also love how flexible she is, and the amazing things she can do with her ass!"

You have done some incredible scenes for Mason including your two "Anikka" star showcases. What does Mason have as a director to be able to help you bring that level of work forward?

"Mason really gets into the scene enthusiastically and she is very encouraging. She reminds me of a sports coach who is always yelling encouragement and challenging you to be better than your last scene over and over again. She has such an energetic passion for porn. It's an art."

So who wins the battle of you versus Monroe?

"I don't believe in any winners. It may be a 'battle' movie, but there was a lot of cooperation and encouragement between all the performers in this great movie."

What is your favorite scene in "Anikka Vs. Kelsi"?

"All of the scenes I did were AMAZING in their own ways. I did a really hot bootylicious GGG anal scene with Kelsi and AJ Applegate. I also did a sizzling latex-themed anal scene with Manuel Ferrara. I'd have to say though that my favorite scene of the movie was the insanely hot and naughty three way anal scene I did with Kelsi and Mick! What is coming up for you?
