Ten Very Sexy Projected Grammy Wins

null

Which Sexy Ladies Will Take Home Music's Biggest Honor?

If you happen to be in Los Angeles, I cannot recommend a trip to the Grammy Museum enough. It is a celebration of the art of music, and they always have a ton of cool stuff from Grammy awards ceremonies past. You get to be closer to a Grammy award than most of us get to in this lifetime. There are stunning outfits (the sequin-heavy dress that Whitney Houston wore to a Grammy ceremony and an incredibly fly fancy tux worn by B.B. King are on display) and a ton of instruments owned by some of the world's greatest musicians (seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn's guitars with an old set list he taped to one of his amps made me stop in my tracks).

The Grammys are almost always very memorable, and you should tune into them on the 15th on CBS at 8PM ET/7 PM CT/5 PM PT. Below are my picks for winners based on their sex appeal and what I think of their groove. Feel free to express your opinions of my picks below:

Album of the Year: Taylor Swift's "1989"

Swift likes to sing a lot of songs about her ex-boyfriends, but really, there is no denying her heat and obvious fuckabilty. Personally, I think Brittany Howard in Alabama Shakes is damn hotter, but I do believe that the people have spoken on this one. Her tour was a ridiculous smash and you all love any Swift news that goes up here.

Best New Artist: Tori Kelly

This was a tough category, with Meghan Trainor's classic blonde loveliness and Courtney Barnett's super songs and alt girl sensibilities. Kelly has legs for days, super-looking tits and her cheekbones are stunning. Kelly is easy on the eyes and I definitely want to see her last.

Record of the Year/Song of the Year: Taylor Swift's "Blank Space"

Swift is pure retro pin-up sex kitten all over this album, recounting yet more bad romantic relationship choices, but fuck, she looks so sexy doing it. I do think that Bruno Mars and his Uptown Funk might take this for "Album", so my conviction on this isn't the strongest, but for sexy, sweet doings, Swift has it in the bag. This title single is also up for Song of the Year, so it could be a two-fer for Swift on this one.

Best Rap Album: Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint"

Oh, lady Minaj. We love your phat ass and your bitches with big asses. Fuck those skinny bitches, indeed. She is totally likely to lose this category to Kendrick Lamar according to the music journalists out there, but on sheer ass power, the world's anacondas are happy and have taken notice of Minaj's beats. I think she could totally win if ass ability decided this category with the voters. The song above is a total earworm too. You just can't unhear it. I spent half the day singing about my non-existent anaconda once, which don't want none unless you've got buns, hon.

Best Alternative Music Album: Bjork's "Vulnicura"

Bjork is not probably going to win this category—I really hope Alabama Shakes does—but Bjork has the sexy going on, and for that, she gets my nod here. She is that weird art girl who has no problem getting naked and the first two letters of her name are "Bj". She totally seems like she would be down to fuck at a moment's notice even though she'd probably pull some weird shit along the way.

Best Country Album: Kacey Musgraves' "Pageant Material"

I almost went with Ashley Monroe in this category—she's a cute little blonde thing who has no problem with short skirts and dresses cut down to her belly button, both of which are positives in her favor. However, it's the quirky sensuality of Musgraves' in cutoffs and fluffy mini petticoats with short gingham dresses that got me. Plus, Musgraves is 420-friendly (always a plus in my book) and she is totally cool with making out with girls. I heart Musgraves muchly and I would love it if she won. Unfortunately, everyone else in the world is predicting Chris Stapleton will win this category.

Best Solo Pop Performance: Ellie Goulding for "Love Me Like You Do"

Goulding never has a problem showing her pretty bits, and in this song from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack, she offers to let her partner "set the pace." You got it! Swift is also nominated in this category, but I figured the Grammy voters would want to spread it around a little. Kelly Clarkson was also an option in this category, but sorry, I am going for the Goulding.

Best R & B Performance: Tamar Braxton for "If I Don't Have You"

Braxton is just liquid sex here, both in her performance of the the song and in the music video which takes place in an old-timey brothel filled with dime pieces. This is for sure my pick for winner here. Braxton is just yummy.

Best Spoken Word Album: Amy Poehler for "Yes Please"

Poehler's sexy, sweet, smart memoir is a great listen and I think this stands a great chance. Kathleen Turner and Carol Burnett make guest appearances in Poehler's reading of her book, and while I do love the hell out of Patti Smith, you can't deny the commercial appeal of this SNL alum.

Best Music Film: "Amy"

This sweet, sad documentary about the too short life and career of Amy Winehouse deserves every award it is up for, including the Oscar for Best Documentary.
