Nudity isn’t for everyone, even though at some point in all of our lives we are nude. But when it comes to shedding clothing in film and television, some actors and actresses won’t remove their tops (or bottoms). Thank goodness Natalie Dormer has no problem at all taking off her clothes; in fact, she has no regrets at all about being nude.  

You know what, Natalie Dormer, we have no regrets about you being topless on screen as well. In fact, your topless scenes typically are the best part of whatever we are watching. In a recent interview Natalie Dormer talked about why she’ll do nudity and why it’s not a big deal.  

“Sex is part of life. . . When I started my career, I was grateful to get the job. People would say, ‘The Tudors was so hyper-sexualised, why on earth would you make that decision?’ Well, I made the decision because I was unemployed. I didn’t know what The Tudors was going to be, I didn’t have all 10 scripts; I’d just got a job, for f***’s sake. There’s plenty of male nudity in Game Of Thrones, too. Sex is part of life, ergo it’s part of art. If you’re representing real life, then you will represent sex.”  

Truer words were never spoken. I know we are all anxiously awaiting the return of Game of Thrones for some more topless Natalie Dormer . . . and dragons. But if you want to see Natalie Dormer before then, her new movie The Forest in currently in theaters.
