Twenty Questions with Porn Legend/Vivid Radio’s Mary Carey

Retired porn star/wannabe California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey is a living porno legend and a sweetheart.  She was a contract girl with Kick Ass Pictures and is in the AVN Hall of Fame.  She appeared on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "Sober House" on VH1, appeared in the documentary "After Porn Ends" and has appeared on just a ton of news shows as part of her run for governor back in 2005.  She currently hosts the "Mary Carey Happy Hour" on Vivid Radio and it lives up to the show's name as a fun time.  Here are her answers to twenty questions.

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was a good girl. I was the star ballerina at an elite private prep school. My junior year I started dated the public school baseball players. Ballet was my life though most of high school.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I became a porn fan in college through the Howard Stern Show. I loved Jenna Jameson and Houston.

3) What do you think shaped you into the great performer that we saw in your porno?

I genuinely always had a great time on set and loved shooting my scenes. I think having fun doing what you are doing makes you a great performer. 

4) What do you enjoy most about hosting Vivid Radio?

I love getting an hour to talk and do a show on VividRadio.com that I want to do. Radio is something I have always loved doing and it is a career I would like to do more many more years to come.

5) Who was your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

I loved working with Tawny Roberts and Eric Masterson. They are both hot and cool people.

6) You are very active on Twitter. What do you like most about reaching your fans there?

I love to hear directly from them what they want and like. It's fun getting feedback.

7) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

I love being on top!

8) What do you remember most about running for governor of the state of California?

It was the most exciting time of my life . I loved being a part of history.

9) What is one thing you would teach a woman who wanted to be better in bed with her guy?

Be confident.

10)  How was being on “"Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew"” and "“Sober House"”?

It was amazing! I love Dr.Drew and being on 2 VH1 shows was amazing.

11) What do you think are “must-own” titles for your fans?

I love my new Cinemax movies "All Babe Network" and "The Great Bikini Bowling Bash".

12) What do you like to do for fun?

I love working out and watching ballet and basketball.

13) Have you met anyone on your show who you wish you could have worked with during your performing career?

Yes! Nikki Benz!

14) What is coming up for you?
I have 2 new movies coming out on Cinemax this year and am feature dancing around the country and of course my Vivid Radio Show which I hope your readers will check out.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

I loved American Sniper.

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I love Nikki Benz, she is super hot and does great scenes,

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

I love a Hitachi! Best toy ever.

18) If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices and tell us why.

Britney Spears and Eminem.

19) After all of your years in porn, is there anything you would want to do differently if you had a second chance?

I would love to do more boy/girl scenes, only did twelve.
