Eighteen Questions with MILF Superstar Tanya Tate

Brit stunner Tanya Tate has always been one of my favorite performers to watch and truly, she just kicks ass at everything she does.  She openly is a comic book geek, does cosplay and has her own new line of action figures.  How fucking cool is that?  Sexually, she is a force of nature and her directorial efforts from Filly Films are perverted and fun.  Her latest for Filly Films--"Lesbian Family Affair"--streets this week on DVD and VOD.  He has her own PR company and her own Fleshlight.  She has won many MILF of the Year awards from various organizations and publications and is regularly nominated for AVN's Award in that category.  She is one damn sexy Liverpudlian and she is worth your attention in every way.  Here are her answers to eighteen questions.

1) What kind of girl were you back in school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was a very boisterous child. Very loud, you could hear me coming around. I was a girl’s girl, always with my mates, carrying on and getting into a bit of trouble. I think you can say I was a bit mischievous. I didn’t date much, but I was always looking to something naughty to get into.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

No, I was not really a hardcore fan, although I had watched a little softcore on cable TV when I was younger. Ironically, while one of rare times I actually watched one - it inspired me to get into the adult industry. I had just gotten out of a relationship, I was with a male friend who put one on and while watching, I thought to myself, that was something I could do. I had some pictures taken of me, sent them around to the directors in London and ended up making naughty movies.

3) What do you think shaped you into the director/performer that you are today?
I think it helped that I got in after I had passed my twenties. I was an adult with some life experience. I was familiar with my body, knew what I liked and knew what made my body feel good. So, I was able to use that for my performances and in-turn as a director.

4)What do you think makes your work stand apart from other directors?

I really make an effort to cast girls who I think will have chemistry with each other. I don’t just pair people together and hope for the best. I want talent to be into the scene, be energetic, be really into the moment. I think the scenes I film are fun, sensual, taboo without being off-putting.

5)Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

Any guy that wants to pleasure me, I have chemistry with, and is a strong performer is one of my favourites. I have done some amazing scenes with James Deen, Johnny Sinns, and Xander Corvus. There are girls out there who have a certain sexuality about them that really turns me on. Someone who is genuinely into pleasuring a woman. I love girls such as Julia Ann, India Summer, Jelena Jensen, and Riley Reid. I still have a few hotties on my wish list whom I would like to work with - Lexi Belle, Tori Black, Teagen Presley, and Alexis Texas. They are all hot and very sexy.

6)Why did you decide to create “Lesbian Family Affair”?

It came out of the popularity of other, similar themed movies I have done. We’ve touched on some taboo topics in the past like when I did a scene with my “niece” Samantha Bentley or we’ve done Step-Mom/Daughter scenes. It really came about because of the demand. Filly Films already had the Mommy and Me series (I directed #10), but to take things up a notch we did Lesbian Family Affair, which is different because every scene is a three-way.

7)What is your favorite scene in “Lesbian Family Affair”?

Oh, that’s tough because I think they are all hot. I really enjoyed the scene I did with Aaliyah Love and Zoey Monroe. Aaliyah is a lot of fun, we did an amazing scene in Game of Bones, so I was excited to have some more naughty playtime with her and Zoey. But then, I really loved working with Nina Elle and Lilly Banks who are really hot girls that love sex. So, its tough for me to say.

8)What do you like most about working for Filly Films?

They listen to me and give me a lot of freedom to do what I want. For example, they let me film in England (Brit School Brats) or make a movie about cosplay (Cosplay Queens and Tied Up Teens). That is really cool. If I have an idea, I’ll bring it up and they work with me on making it happen.

9)What is one thing you would teach a woman who expand her sexual boundaries with her partner?

Take thing slow and listen to your partner. Keep the lines of communication open, listen and watch each other to see what makes each other feel good. I’ll even say watch one of my Filly Films movies, it’s fun, pretty sex that gets just hard enough that boundaries are pushed but not so much as to scare anyone off.

10) What are the best things about being a porn director?

I like being able to come up with my own concepts, book my own cast, and then watch as they bring to life the fantasies that I’ve come up with.

11)What do you think is the hottest scene from one of your other titles?

I have worked with a lot of amazing talent. We’ve made some incredibly hot scenes. But to me, one that stands out is one I did for my Tanya Tate’s Casting Couch. That is a series where I do a scene with an amateur who is looking to break into adult entertainment, or who just wants a go with a porn star, LOL. I did an orgy and one of the lads was Greg Jacob who was a professional Irish athlete. Yes, that one made the papers in England.

12)What do you think is the best scene that you have directed for Filly Films that you are not in?

All the scenes have their own merits. One of my favourites was Katie K and Jess West in Brit School Brats, where both girls were dressed as sexy school girls. The chemistry was intense and the scene just really flowed. It was very exciting to direct and watch.

13)Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

I really don't have a role model per se, but there are a lot of people who inspire me. Mainly people on the business side. The people behind the scenes who work on deals and make things happen. That is what fascinates me. I am really interested in the business aspect of the industry.

14)What can we look for in your upcoming Filly Films releases?

I have a lot of interesting ideas and I look forward to bringing them to light. There'll be more of the taboo type stories like those seen in Lesbian Family Affair, but I also want to play around with other concepts and have fun with other genres.

15)What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

Oddly enough, I really don't have much time for mainstream entertainment. I'm always working. But I did get a chance to see The Inbetweeners 2, that one gave me a proper laugh. I also liked Maleficent, Guardians of the Galaxy, and a UK movie called Walking On Sunshine.

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I don't get a chance to watch anybody else's work, really.

17)What adult directors inspire you most in your work?

One of the first hardcore movies I watched was Viv Thomas. I love the way the sensuality of hot girls and their chemistry is captured by the camera.

18)If you could cast any celebrities to do an epic sex scene for you, who would you cast? Give us your male and female choices and tell us what you would ask of them.

I am a big fan of WWE wrestling. I would love to cast some of the my favourite wrestlers Sheamus and Wade Barrett in a feature. Capturing sex both in the ring and backstage action with hot female WWE divas Paige, Natalya, AJ Lee, and the Bella Twins. That movie would sell!
