Breast Actresses: Part I. The Nudity Of This Year’s Emmy-Nominated Women

The 66th Annual Emmy Awards take place Monday night, live on NBC. We can talk 'til we lose our voices discussing the snubs (Tatiana Maslany, Broad City, Amy Schumer etc) and perennial darlings (Modern Family, Downton Abbey, etc). But before the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences celebrates the "best" (ha!) in TV, we wanted to highlight the major accomplishments and riveting performances of the nominated actresses in every acting category. And by major accomplishments and riveting performances, we mean anytime they've been nude on-screen:

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie

Angela Bassett for American Horror Story: Coven (FX)

Bassett has always been one of the more fit women in Hollywood and this star of stage and screen gave us some good looks at her toned body and naked breasts in 1991's City Of Hope.

Kathy Bates for American Horror Story: Coven (FX)

Bates is a proven actress, evident by her Oscar for her memorable turn in 1990's Misery. She's also a proven skinny dipper after she gave her saggy honkers a soak, going fully nude in a hot tub with Jack Nicholson in 2002's About Schmidt.

Ellen Burstyn for Flowers In The Attic (Lifetime) 

Like Bates, Burstyn also sports an Academy Award (1974's Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore). Unlike Bates, Burstyn's done a TON of nudity, none better than her long, fully nude, bush flashing turn in 1970's Tropic Of Cancer. She was...is a beauty, folks.

Frances Conroy for American Horror Story: Coven (FX) 

Conroy rounds out the nominees for the Ryan Murphy "miniseries." No nudity from Conroy but the former Six Feet Under co-star did show some impressive cleavage in a bra during a game of strip poker on How I Met Your Mother.

Julia Roberts for The Normal Heart (HBO)

America's former Sweetheart (current titleholder, Jennifer Lawrence) is famously firm on her silly stance in regards to nudity despite becoming a star for playing a prostitute in 1990's Pretty Woman. But she did slip a little nip in that flick.

Allison Tolman for Fargo (FX)
