Jodi Taylor hasn’t been in the adult industry for very long, but she’s managed to capture our hearts lickety-split. How did she do it? Are we suckers for redheads? Yes, but we don’t give ourself to any ol’ dame with a fiery mane. This Jodi is a special lady, and we think you’ll agree with us–if not now, then as soon as you watch some of her films.
Jodi Taylor was born in the United States of America, possibly in 1992, most likely between July 19 and July 24. As you can tell, this fresh-faced pornstar hasn’t been interviewed and researched enough for us to be precise about her. The only way we were able to narrow down her birthdate is because she mentioned her zodiac sign is on the cusp between Cancer and Leo. Fortunately, there are a couple of interviews with Jodi out there–one on YouTube and one at AIP Daily–so we do know a few definite things about Jodi!
Though we don’t know where she’s from, we know that she lived in Sun Valley, Idaho for a number of years, and since that’s a big spot for celebrity ski vacations, she’s met quite a few big name stars. For example, Demi Moore dated her taekwondo instructor for a while!
“Did he bang her?” asked one interviewer.
“Well, I’m assuming. Since they dated.”
“Do you have any juicy Demi Moore stories?”
“No, I was ten.”
But Jodi was a precocious youth in her own way. She started watching porn at a relatively early age, and since she was also a working girl at the time, she had her own credit card with which to buy membership access to paysites (which is so responsible and sweet of her). “I fantasized about doing [porn],” says Jodi, “but was put off by the appearance and behavior of most of the women.” That all changed when she got herself a subscription to Kink’s Bound Gangbangs. Watching those slam sessions play out like symphonies tantalized Jodi and awoke desires deep inside her, and more importantly, the post-gangbang interviews humanized pornstars in Jodi’s mind. “I noticed how natural and normal the girls they had on there were. Made me feel like I could be natural and normal and still do porn.” As a sidenote, Jodi says that she used to watch those scenes and orgasm without touching herself.
Despite these early rumblings, Jodi didn’t aim to become a pornstar, and more or less forgot about the idea because she wanted to do other things. She became interested in the film industry, and has harbored a desire to direct movies since she was little. During her teenage years, she did some commercial and fashion modeling (she ended up in a Dillard’s catalog once, but mostly lent her image to stock photos), and eventually transitioned into nude modeling. Around that time, an acquaintance of hers was in the adult industry, and after Jodi met with her pal’s agent, she was all set to star in her first scene.
Jodi isn’t yet paying all the bills with porn work, so she falls back on her film industry roots and works as a production assistant around Los Angeles. As of last August, she mentioned that she writes animation storyboards and is trying to get an agent to represent her in that arena. “I plan to be in the adult industry for a few years because I really love it and it was something I really wanted to do when I was younger. But directing and writing is my ultimate goal.”
Even though her eyes are on a non-pornographic prize, Jodi enjoys the hell out of her adult work, and has said that she’s been a lot happier since she started doing porn. She’s already realized her dream of being in a Bound Gangbangs scene, she had her first anal experience (even counting her personal sex life) with Mike Adriano for “The Spit and the Speculum 2,” and she’ll soon roll out her very own member site with lots of bondage and “crazy, scary, ridiculous, even hilarious sex scenarios.” In general, she’s found the industry to be a positive place: “The people are fun. I thought they’d be weird and crazy, which they are, but in a good fun way. They make me laugh. Being onset is always a really good time.”
That being said, we feel like Jodi is the kind of girl who can’t not have fun. When asked about her hobbies and interests and whatnot, Jodi responded:
I have many pets, ten to be exact. Six cats, a St. Bernard, a pit bull, a basset hound and a snake. They keep me busy. I also study Japanese for fun. I take directing and storyboarding classes because I want to do that someday. I also take martial arts. Then I’m a huge movie buff! “Star Wars” rules all. So does Disney and Lucille Ball. Then I also play Xbox.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to imagine hitting on pornstars, then you may be interested to know that Jodi has never ever had a boyfriend (or girlfriend or any significant other) in her life. Gasp, right? We think that’s fantastic, frankly. Jodi is just getting into the prime of her life, exploring what the world has to offer, honing her skills in a wide variety of areas, and turning herself into the woman she’s destined to be. What kind of woman is that? How can Jodi get any better than she already is? Don’t question how; just enjoy the view.
