Paula wants to get pregnant so she can be moved to the jail’s maternity ward and avoid being harassed by the other inmates; Antonio, another prisoner who is in love with Paula, is sterile, so he gets his brother Jorge to visit and sleep with her. Jorge has a girlfriend, but he too falls in love with Paula. Tangled? Yes, but oh so tender.
To be honest, half the reason we posted clips from this movie is because we love its title. It translates into “Dark Blue Almost Black” and refers to the color of a suit that Jorge (a janitor) envisions himself wearing in a new life with a new career. The other half of why we posted this is because of all the boobs and sex and the sweet music that plays over everything.
