You know those new Lincoln commercials that suggest Abraham Lincoln Himself might somehow be endorsing the Lincoln Motor Car Company? That is insane. I’d be really impressed if Abe were pictured at the wheel of some Big Pimpin’ Continental Mark VI. Similarly I’d be impressed if these “Hairy” European ladies didn’t restrict their hair to their bushes.
Five women disrobe, fuck, and later shower in this Third World Media release, which might have been made in 1987 were not there some telltale tattoos, augmentations, and recent-looking IKEA furniture on display.
What is not present is armpit hair. I remember how big a deal that was when Madonna posed nude in Penthouse. Though her pubic hair was flagrant by millennial rules, it was her pit hair that caused a ruckus.
Some effort is made in this movie to emphasize the hair, and fetishize it, which I think is important. But if you’re going to call a title “Hairy in Europe,” you’ve got to get hairier, and perhaps film at the bottom of the Danube.
