Tommy Pistol Is Doing Big Things On The Big Screen

We like keeping track of what pornstars are doing when they're not doing each other, especially when their passions get them involved in big art projects. There are a lot of adult industry professionals with their fingers in many pies, but nobody fingerbangs the bakery quite like Tommy Pistol. That boy is busy. Let's check out what he's been up to!

First up, our boy Tommy (er, Aramis Sartorio) is acting opposite Joanna Angel and Kevin Gage (of "Con Air" and "Blow") in "The Owl in Echo Park," the story of an undercover cop who watches his life go down the tubes thanks to drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. All filming has finished, but the project still needs a bit of funding help so they can deal with post-production costs. It's directed by Shane Ryan, who coincidentally directed the next movie that Mr. Pistol is involved with!

That movie is "My Name is A," a disturbing and heart wrenching look at the lives of young teen girls. It's based on the true story of Alyssa Bustamante, a fifteen year-old who was convicted of killing her nine year-old neighbor, and it is so very, very dark. The trailer alone will give you the willies, but not because of any supernatural horror elements. No, it rides on a pure wave of human heartache borne from the cruelty and self-mutilation of the young. Aramis is an associate producer for "My Name is A," and yeah, it sounds right up his twisted alley. If it's up your alley as well, then good news: it's going to get a US theatrical release!

So there you have it: two films by Shane Ryan with the help of Tommy Pistol. We can only wonder what this darling devil of a man will work on next.
