Ask Camille: The Fleshbot Edition

Since I’ve been given the chance to share my voice here on Fleshbot, I thought I’d return the favor by offering some of you the chance to talk too. When I’m not maintaining my site or giving sensual blowjobs, I spend a fair amount of time writing, including for an advice column. While I certainly don’t claim to be an expert, I love tackling relationship and sexuality questions with whatever wisdom I have to impart, and I also love answering questions about the porn industry!

I know that the Fleshbot audience is a unique group of refined pornographic connoisseurs, I feel like you might have some especially fascinating queries for me to ponder and respond to in kind. So, I’m asking you to post your questions in the comments below and I will respond to them on Friday. As long as you’re respectful, you can ask whatever you’d like about relationships, sex or porn. I’m a pretty open book and I’d love to get the chance to clear something up or add a little bit to the wealth of information on this lovely site.

Please don’t make me make up questions… That would just be sad!

How do you feel about people that say that pornography can’t be feminist, no matter who is making it, what the performers think, or what the audience is? Whenever I read that argument, it feels like it says that no matter what, it’s being made for men and objectifying women.

    An example of the argument:

There’s actually a whole post devoted to this exact issue, but I’ll answer this as part of Friday’s post anyways, because I’m sure I can tackle it from a different angle.

      Great minds think alike, hodayathink!

What kind of equipment do you use and what do you use to edit?

Spilling my secrets, eh?  Well, we’ll see.  ;)

I’m curious about your porn-viewing experience before you entered the porn world professionally.  Contrary to some of the cliches on the subject, quite a few viewers of online porn are female, but it still seems very much taboo for women to discuss what they like to watch, even with each other.  Did you watch lot of porn before joining the industry, or were you inspired to enter in large part by dissatisfaction with what you saw, or were you somewhere in-between?

Good question!  Thanks for asking and you’ll see it answered here on Friday.

    A theoretical:

If you could work with any one Porn Valley/California porn director/producer for a scene (as in them behind the camera and you in front of it, not necessarily you having sex with them), who would it be?

Ooooh…  Interesting!  I’ll be thinking about this a lot in advent of Friday’s post.

    Technical difficulties. Please stand by.

Where did you learn to give such awesome blowjobs?  Or are you totally self-taught?

Excellent question…  I’ll be answering this one here on Friday.

How do you fight the boredom of long-term monogamy?

Thanks for the question…  I think this’ll be pertinent to a lot of people, so I’ll definitely be answering it in my post!

Great question!  Look for the response on Fleshbot on Friday!

I think this is a very accessible feeling…  Thanks for the great question!

    Good question!

I’ll ponder this one for Friday…  I think I get the gist.

An excellent conversation starter…  I look forward to ruminating and giving a thoughtful answer.

What do you think of during a blowjob? Does your mind wander (like mine)?

    • http://twitter.com/CamilleCrimson Camille Crimson

      Oooh, good question!

  • http://twitter.com/CamilleCrimson Camille Crimson

Ah!  I just saw these now..

    1.  I think that love can develop over time, so it’s important to be patient.  When you’re with a new person, of course you won’t be able to have the same connection right away.

    2.  I don’t know for sure.  I think people mature at different rates, but we have to have an arbitrary line somewhere, and the powers that be have decided it’s 18.  All I can hope is that more and more producers are on the level and look for people who have thought it all through.

Bonus question…  Wouldn’t you like to know?  :P
