The Door Jam Sex Sling Puts Mistletoe To Shame

The promise of exploring the "sex playground" of Sportsheets' Door Jam Sex Sling was countered by a trepidation of hooks, straps and general installation woes. But surprise, surprise — once out of the box, the Sex Sling was tossed over my door and ready to hop into in a matter of seconds.

All the sling requires is throwing the end of each strap (outfitted with dumbell-like weights) over the top of the door and shutting it. That's it. Once I was on board with each foot in its strap, all worries flew out the window — I felt very secure, rather comfortable, and pretty turned on at being suspended, cock-level, in the air.

Everything on the sling is fully adjustable so one you dangle as high or low as you please, with the foot straps letting legs be stretched out or bent at the knee, held up tight (I prefer this mode, allowing for extra-deep penetration. Shivers!)

There were only two potentially troublesome aspects of this toy that I experienced. The first is that the seat of this toy is decently wide — though it contributes to comfort, it also keeps the sling-ee's asscheeks from being available for a real solid grab, which would be ideal to aid in deep and rapid plunging. Secondly, particularly rough pumping on the part of one's partner could result in some tailbone bruising... but honestly, that's par for the course. I think it's safe to say most of us feel a couple bumps and bruises are a quite sexy.

Overall this is a brilliant means of sexually switching things up. As lovely as different vibrators, dildos, and buttplugs can be, the Sex Sling opens up a world of imaginative heights, angles, and sensations. It's cheaper than many toys at $65, and for my money, is a great investment for adventurous couples (can't imagine it'd do too much for solo play). I'm looking forward to many a romp in the Door Jam Sex Sling — it's definitely the most thrilling thing to cross my threshold.
