It’s “Bobbi’s World”—We Just Fap To It

We've been eagerly awaiting Bobbi Starr's directorial debut since—well, since the day we met her. We've long suspected that this phenomenal performer—and brilliant and talented woman—would prove to be an equally phenomenal director; now that we've seen "Bobbi's World," we're pleased to say that we were right.

"Bobbi's World" is a beautifully shot four and a half hour odyssey full of gorgeous performers having passionate, kinky sex, with butt play, threesomes, and foot fucking aplenty—and many a winking asshole to guide you through the picture (this is an Evil Angel release, after all). But that's not what sets it apart from a sea of other porn films. No, what Bobbi brings to the table is something even rarer: a seamless script that makes the movie flow beautifully from script to sex, intertwining six diverse scenes together into something that makes sense (and really works), and a cast that brings their all to the table, truly throwing themselves into their scenes and having a genuine good time (and, more astonishingly, actually displaying some competent acting chops during scripted dialogue).

"Bobbi's World" isn't quite a gonzo porn, but it doesn't have the feel of a scripted feature, either. What it is is an incredibly intimate (if somewhat fictionalized) view of a day in Bobbi's life, starting with a trip to Kimberly Kane's house to recount two very dirty dreams (depicted in full as scenes starring Dia Zerva, Danny Wylde, Marie Luv, and Ashley Fires) and enact a fantasy with Kimberly, then moving on to a meeting with Bobbi's accountant (far sexier than it sounds), a rendezvous with a couple from Craigslist (Michael Vegas and Amy Brooke), and sex with Manuel Ferrara (the perfect way to end any day, if you ask us).

It's hard to pick a favorite scene, or even a favorite moment, of "Bobbi's World": I loved the chemistry between Kimberly Kane and Bobbi as they played with one another, I was awed by Bobbi's masterful command of both Danny Wylde and Dia Zerva as she orchestrated their threeway. And the grown up slumber party feel of Marie Luv, Ashley Fires, and Bobbi all playing with each other's butt holes (and feet) was a bit too sweet to resist. But perhaps the best part was this: Bobbi manages to include a scene that starts with a discussion of her taxes—a discussion which isn't immediately forgotten the minute the clothes come off, but manages to return, several times, throughout the scene (including as part of a particularly sexy twist). There aren't that many directors who can make accounting sexy; the fact that Bobbi's achieved this feat says far more about her talents than any glowing review we could possibly give.
