As an American, I would like to take some credit for the English emergence in (alt) babe export. With the victory at Yorktown, Washington ushered in the decline of the British Empire — which, granted, lasted another 162, ’til the loss of the Subcontinent (“jewel of the Empire”) — & in that decline the British could have sulked. Instead, they turned their eye to other means toward dominance, & in the busty, narrow-waisted babe, they found one. & thru the appropriately named FRONT, they disseminate babes, just as two centuries ago they brought forth the English languge, cricket, tea, & beans on toast. (They need to apologize for that one.) So, pip, pip, England, on this most American of holiday! You have right to be proud, even in defeat.
