Courtney Cruz Strikes Back With Encore Show Of “Star Warz Burlesque”

Not so long ago, in downtown LA at the Bordello Bar, sexy Courtney Cruz decide to bring out some boobs for the Star Wars fans. We truly believe she had no idea what was about to happen.

After performing at Bondage Balls and posing for mags like Skin Two, Courtney decided to create her own burlesque series called Devil's Playground. Together with her bad ass posse of hot dancers, she chose themes like Comic Book Vixens, Video Game Girls, and Gods of Rock, and even holiday themed performances. A buzz quickly formed around her crew and they got local fame. Then Courtney dreamed up a Star Wars themed show. It seemed to fit right in with the other shows they had done. The night of the show the line snaked blocks down from the club around the LA County Morgue. The club was packed beyond capacity with howling fans and many didn't get in. So Courtney decided to take it up a notch with an encore performance at the Music Box at the Henry Ford Theater, a significantly larger venue, last Friday night, March 12th. It sold out, with people cramming onto the floor and filling the mezzanine.

The show opened with a narrator dressed like Han Solo reciting a dramatic monologue. Then the curtain rose and Darth Vader ominously marched out waving a light saber. Within seconds the dreaded Vader was stripping and giving a light hearted jazz dance performance twirling her saber around and flashing her sweet buns. Boba Fett came out of the crowd and took everything off down to her jet pack, flashing her amazing bubble and shaking her shaggy blond locks out. Chewbacca gave us an imaginative performance, stripping and shaving in a large steel bathtub brought out onto stage before posing like a pin up beauty.

Jabba the Hut was just as imaginative, peeling out of a shiny costume and exposing a balloon dress she popped a little at a time. Then a Jedi came out of the crowd and strangled her to death before posing like a sexy Leia in a matching bikini real Star Wars fans don't need to be reminded about. That scene haunted our childhoods!

A sexy vixen with a Death Star umbrella reminded us that although they are evil the empire can be so damn hot. C3PO reminded us that robots need sex too.

Stand out performances that brought the house down belonged to R2D2 played by Sin Fisted and the big breasted Stormtrooper played by Cruz herself. Sin climbs out of the Droid and gave the singular most memorable dance slash contortionist performance we have ever seen. Period. It was like Cirque meets stripper meets Star Wars. Similarly Courtney's soldier of the Empire performance with firing glitter gun finale had the crowd roaring with a standing ovation.

Star Warz Burlesque was presented by Courtney Cruz's Devil's Playground. It starred Courtney Cruz, Miss Mia Vixen, Daisy Meadow, Kitty Cadillac, Sin Fisted, Scarlet O'gasm, Lucy Fur, Olivia Bellafontaine, Charlotte La Belle Araigne'e, Audrey Deluxe, and Matthew McCallum. Joel Huxtable brought the lights and visuals and Carlos Flores designed sets and costumes, props, and just about everything else.
