40 Over Forty Explores The Sexuality Of Older Women

Despite what pop culture may tell us, a woman’s sexuality doesn’t disappear the day she turns forty. If anything, it becomes richer, more complex, and, well, much more interesting. Sparky Campanella examines the topic in 40 Over Forty.

A mixture of nude portraits and commentary from their subjects, 40 Over Forty pulls back the curtain on the sexuality of women of a certain age; revealing something beautiful, awe-inspiring, and uniquely sexy in the process.

LOVE this photo spread…so nice to see women who look more like *me*. Any guy (or gal) who thinks that older women aren’t sexy needs to think again…I can tell you from personal experience that sexually, we only get better! Our bodies may not be a firm, but we know more about pleasure than most pretty young things…

This is a really, interesting photoshoot and I totally respect those women…

…and at the same time acknowledge that there’s no way in hell that I (as a guy) would ever have the balls to pull something like that off as I get older, heh.

    Next stop: Eric Clapton Towne!

(That line from Henry Rollins’s Think Tank talking-disc, Ol’ Hank talking about getting older, was the first to come to mind as I read this piece. I much prefer these women to any of the music EC has produced, though. Ol’ Hank might too. (If he’s not gay. Is he gay?))
