Well, what do you know: it seems the biggest sex scandal of 2009 wasn’t the McSteamy tape or Rihanna’s nude pics or even Carrie Prejean. No, the woman who’s naked bits really rocked the world was…someone we’ve never heard of.
Granted, it’s a big ol’ world out there, with many, many people who aren’t American (a billion or so in China alone!)…so it shouldn’t come as that big a surprise that the biggest scandal of all didn’t actually involve one of our precious pop stars. But we are a bit surprised that this is the first we’re hearing of the tale of Miss Russia 2009, whose leaked nudie photos threatened her chance to compete for the title of Miss Universe (which she ultimately ran for and lost).
New New Year’s resolution: brush up on our Cyrillic so we can stay on top of these stories.
