Sasha Grey’s Five Favorite (Non-Porn) Films

If you’re not beaching or barbecuing it this weekend, and your plans to see “Terminator Salvation” were scuttled by the awful reviews, why not settle in at home with a nice DVD? Sasha Grey‘s got some recommendations for her top favorite films—one of them should suit your needs.

Okay, true, Sasha’s tastes lean more towards arty than summer blockbuster…but maybe a night with Werner Herzog’s “Strzosek” will help broaden your horizons, you philistine.

Sasha would be the hot girl who watches artistic foreign films without being forced. She makes me feel like such a tool.

Wonderful choices. The only thing predictable about Sasha is her unpredictability.

Damn, I love Sasha. Also, I now have some movies that I must watch (particularly “Fat Girl” . . . I’m intrigued).

Terminator Salvation wasn’t that bad. Don’t let the reviews scare you off… the TV show was a lot better and I’ furious it was cancelled, but no need to join the disaffected fanboys piling on the because it wasn’t every singly thing they wanted out of it.

Man I just wanna hang with her and watch a ton of Netflix with her.

It’s interesting to note that, according to Sasha, she originally wanted her porn actress name to be Anna Karina, but her agent talked her out of it.

Gotta love her. I’ll second the shout-outs for her top three – all among my faves, as well. At the end of the day, “Fat Girl” exposes Catherine Breillat as the worst kind of artist: the kind who would waste her considrable talents on cynical pranks against her audience. Haven’t gotten around to “Woyzeck” yet, but Herzog is the man

    OK. I’m impressed.
