Carson Daly Goes XXX: The Sasha Grey Interview

Last night, Sasha Grey appeared on “Last Call with Carson Daly” to talk about, well, being Sasha Grey. On the table for discussion: “The Girlfriend Experience” (obviously) and her porn career. At left, our favorite clip, in which Sasha tests the limits of what you can say on network TV.

    “The Girlfriend Experience” has gotten some rave reviews, notably four stars from Roger Ebert and Mick LaSalle of the SF Chronicle. The NY Times review is somewhat mixed.

    Ebert’s says in regards to Sasha’s adult films, “I haven’t seen any of them, but now I would like to see one, watching very carefully, to see if she suggests more than one level.” The first line of LaSalle’s review states, “The smartest thing director Steven Soderbergh did in the making of “The Girlfriend Experience” was to cast Sasha Grey.”

    Also: Saw Ms Grey interviewed in the ONION, page opposite — yes, an hard-copy of the paper — the Charles Grodin interview. That had me thinking on CG having his own show on CNBC, c. ’93, & wondering, were he still on air, would he interview Sasha. I’m sure, were he to be in position to do so, he would, & it would be fantastic. A tete-a-tete with Zombie Tom Snyder would be ever better, though.
