“The Girlfriend Experience” Official Trailer With Sasha Grey

Contain yourselves now (good thing you can’t see us freaking out over here), but here’s your first glimpse at Sasha Grey‘s film, “The Girlfriend Experience,” by Steven Soderbergh.

The flim is set for wide release on May 22, but there will be an advanced screening followed by a panel discussion with Sasha Grey (omg omg omg!!) on April 30th, at Brandeis University in Boston. Follow the link for more information on that.

    So he is a personal trainer and she is a bored prostitute hiding behind sunglasses.
    Do I want to know more? No.
    Why? The trailer didn’t create demand and give any hint about the direction of the movie.
    The $2000 phrase was obvious.

    If I had it I would totally pay $2000 for Sasha Grey. The movie looks dumb, though.

    The trailer isn’t exactly amazing but, to be sure, Soderbergh’s art films don’t really lend themselves to the usual trailer motifs. And the great thing about his experimental side is that it’s, well, experimental, which means the possibility of it not quite working is part of the deal. Still, I’ll take “Bubble” and “Schizopolis” over “Traffic” and “Ocean’s 37″ any day. Add Sasha to the mix and I couldn’t be more there. Oh mama mama mo ma moan.

    In Porn Valley, the 21 years old Sasha must still portray “barely legal” roles. In Hollywood, she’s playing 22. & while the difference is less, consider she was 20 when she filmed this. All I can say is: end your ageism, pornographers!
